A: There is 2 different kinds of pickleballs. There is a welding ball, with larger holes, and it's 2 separate pieces that was weld together. And you can see a bright seam inside. This ball bands out of shape after playing a while with it.
And then there is the Rotational pickleball, it has smaller holes, and it's much more stiff, it doesn't band out of shape. It's made of one piece. That's why the rotational balls has smaller holes. This ball is USAPA approved.

I bought these recently because we all know balls eventually crack and you need to buy new ones.  The feel for similiar to Franklin X 40,  a little cheaper and so far so good.

I bought these balls when I first started playing pickleball.  My first impression of them balls when I received them was that they seemed cheap, specially the plastic because they were shinier then Franklin X40s (the standard).  After using them for several months they are actually great balls, even compared to the X40s.  I think they might even be better than the Franklin’s.
