These have performed way better than I thought they would. They do come with batteries already in them, so the devices are on. I simply removed them and saved the batteries for when I need them. I'm currently using 4 of the six throughout my room and house. They are all pretty accurate. They only differ by 1 to 2 degrees from each other, but the humidity is spot on (they correspond to the distance to the window or humidifier). I bought these to track the humidity in my room because I have birds and plants in my room. The devices are small, black, and don't look bad at all. They were able to regulate themselves within 3-5 minutes. The response time is about 1 minute. They respond to changes in humidity almost instantly after calibrating to your area. In my experience, these testers are more valuable than 5 dollars. They have been extremely helpful to me. My budgie needs stable humidity levels due to his health and they let me know almost immediately when I need to turn my humidifier on and off. They are also very durable and have held up well. I would for sure purchase again, and I recommend this item.

This pack of 12 Vaikby Mini Digital Thermometer Hygrometers is good enough for me to monitor 3D printer filament. While still in the package, the humidity readings differed as much as 10 points. I immediately worried that these meters were not going to be remotely accurate and would not even be good enough for my purposes, which doesn't require absolute accuracy. However, shortly after opening the package, all the meters seemed to have acclimated to the humidity and temperature in my home. The meters all displayed the same temperature, and humidity readings were within 1 percentage point. All the units arrived in working order and are a great value at the current price of $12.99 for a dozen. I really appreciate that these meters will read humidity as low as 10% since that works just fine for me, unlike similar meters from other sellers that can only display humidity levels of 20% and above.

They’re good for the price

Great for the cigar humidors I have. Only issue, is I have already replaced the batteries in 4 of them. Work great though and convenient to have.

First of all, I think this is a decent product. I ended up returning it mostly because of my personal preferences, but for what it is, it offers fair value and does what it claims. I only compared two sets from two different brands, and in my case, I preferred the round version from the other brand. These square ones are not bad, but I did notice small discrepancies. Even units from the same pack, placed next to each other, can show slightly different temperature and humidity readings. It’s nothing crazy, and it stays within their stated accuracy (around ±2°F and ±5% relative humidity), but I’m a bit picky about that kind of thing. Build quality is okay, just a bit on the cheaper side. The screen looks good straight-on, the numbers are dark and clear, but the viewing angles aren’t great. From the sides it’s fine, but from above or below it gets hard to read. I also didn’t like the layout of the screen. The way the numbers and percentages are arranged just doesn’t look very clean to me. The biggest issue for me, though, is that it only displays temperature in Fahrenheit. That alone was enough for me to return it. If you prefer Celsius, I wouldn’t recommend it. To be fair, this is not a rip-off at all. They clearly state their accuracy, and the product performs within those limits. For a 6-pack, it’s a decent deal. I’ve seen slightly cheaper square versions from other sellers for maybe $1–$2 less with similar build quality, so this isn’t the absolute cheapest option, but it’s still reasonable. Overall, it’s a solid, decent product for the price, especially if you just want something simple and you’re fine with Fahrenheit. I gave it three stars mainly because of my personal preferences, not because it’s a bad product.

Having six of these compact units (for around 3 months) to corroborate the information from the few other reliable units I own is great. I didn't hesitate to discard the other unreliable units and keep my three reliable units & these six for a total of nine and that gives me a lot of added peace of mind. Having set these up in quite a few different configurations to test variables and transitions between different levels and areas of my home I report that these haveexceeded my expectations by a long shot. All 6 are consistently accurate . Only 3/10 of a degree of deviation on one of the units on temp and one degree of deviation on RH on one other unit. For my purposes that is near perfection. Outstanding value. This Vaikby 6-pack mini digital thermometer / hygrometer has earned my highest recommendation.

I can’t complain how it works, but I should’ve paid more attention that it’s showing humidity as a large number and the temperature is a tiny number. I didn’t return them, and I probably should have, but it was my fault for not reading the descriptionproperly.

They are accurate and only 2 were off by 1 percent.
