Why would  a person need these enzymes, i.e. shouldn't the body naturally produced the needed enzymes?

If you have harmful bacteria running rampant in your intestines because of a bacterial imbalance or intestinal parasites, this helps to break down food. If you have parasites, it's important to work with a functional medicine doctor so they can advise you on what to take and what diet to have to rid your body of the parasites and rebalance your gut health. This happens to young people too. You can contract parasites from eating undercooked food or contacting it by putting your hands to your mouth after touching anything with fecal bacteria on it from another person (table, food menu, door handles, etc.).

Question 2

I noticed many of the same ingredients compared to Wobenzyme.  Could this be a cheaper alternative to Wobenzyme?

If you need a cheaper alternative to Wobenzyme, take the requisite number of capsules ON AN EMPTY STOMACH - defined as at least 2 hours before and 1 hour after any food.  Make sure you drink a lot of water to wash them down.  Most, if not all, of the contents will make it through the empty stomach and into your gut.

Ox Bile? I'm almost afraid to ask about it.

I take two of these with each meal.  I have had only positive results with my gut problems.  I wouldn't worry about the Ox bile. :-}

Question 4

i have heard several people say that the pill is too big how big because I have sjogrens and I have trouble swallowing pills anyway because of dry mouth. Is it a capsule that could be opened and mixed with something?

They make a tablet for which I have trouble taking as it tastes terrible and it does linger. I ended up taking with a liquid form of allergy medication I take and is flavored like cough syrup. Surprise it allows me to swallow the tablet without ever tasting it even as an after effect. However what I'm saying is if the capsule opened up tastes anything like it's tablet form then I am not sure what would mask that for you. My mother in law took all meds due to a swallowing disorder mixed into ice cream she then ate very slowly. So it's possible I would think to mix it into a smoothy with pretty strong flavors itself like a lemon or banana maybe. Fruit would be best like strawberry or raspberries is my thinking. Also maybe a spoon of honey mixed and thinned out a little with jam and water might also work. Not sure but sure you could open the capsule and try it that way but all depends on individual tastes and likes. Good luck everyone. Yes I noticed this was asked in 2014 but someone else might want suggestions too. BTW you can buy this at under 22 dollars on Swansons Vitamins today so about a 10 dollar savings. So buyer shops around.
