Danish Dough Whisk Stainless Steel Wooden Handle for Sourdough Bread

I actually love this dough hook. It is not flimsy, comfortable to hold and does an excellent job mixing!

Love it! I've had mine for quite some time now and it has stood the test of time and alot of use! Can't say the same for my balloon whisks though. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical of its efficacy at first but quickly realized that its design is exactly what makes it more effective than a regular balloon whisk for heavy mixtures. It's more open and durable than a balloon whisk so it doesn't get clogged and weighed down making its mixing ability far more superior. It is comfortable to use and generally takes less effort to mix and scrape because it's sturdier to use than flimsy balloon whisk wires. A balloon whisk is still ideal for combining dry ingredients or whipping wet ingredients on their own. But a bonus for the danish whisk is it's also much easier to clean. A must have for avid bakers!

Perfect sour dough mixing tool. Cut my work load and cleaning load down by half. So much better than using a fork or a spatula. The large handle provides comfort with an easy grip and is the size that is perfect for all sizes of bowls or jars. I love it.

I ordered this Danish whisk primarily for making biscuits. Up to now I have been using a spoon to mix the dough which did okay but not great. I had never used a Danish whisk before, but after reading the rave reviews I needed to give it a try. It's a little smaller than I anticipated, but that's actually a good thing as it fits into smaller bowls well and yet the long handle still makes it easy to use. I like the way it mixes dough, and it seems to do a better job than the spoon method. Dough does stick to the little loops of the whisk, but it is easy to push off with a finger when mixing is complete. While the whisk is dishwasher safe, I found it quite easy to simply wash it by hand. There is a fairly large gap where the metal whisk interfaces with the wooden handle, so I dry it upside down to keep water from being trapped inside where it might cause rust. Overall, I'm happy with this whisk and use it regularly. I don't do a lot of baking, but this whisk would be equally handy for hand mixing cake batter.

Very good sturdy tough whisk. Was very helpful in mixing the dough and saved me from having dough all over my hands. The only downside was this was bigger than expected and it ended up being on the larger side for our use.

This is a nice sized dough whisk. I love the handle size and shape which both make it easy to grip. The shape of the whisk is fairly easy to clean. It seems super sturdy and I expect it will last a very long time.
