This little kit has all the basics you need to get started decorating cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. This kit has just the right amount of tips that you can create some beautiful creations and designs. The frosting knife is great, and it also includes enough frosting bags to get started (and they are sturdy bags that don't easily rip). I bought this for my 8-year-old, and she has been loving this kit but would also be great for any home baker. It also includes an information booklet that teaches you the basics and some ideas of what you can create with all of the different tips with very clear directions and images to kick off your decorating inspiration. Great kit Wilton, worth every penny for a baking enthusiast who's looking to explore a little more.

This is a good kit to have for beginners. All the accessories included looked like good quality. Even though the book is only a few pages it has easy to follow instructions. I learned a new and much easier technique to make ombre color fondant. Love this set.

It's a nice product. Maybe I just don't know how to use it correctly but it would have been nice for a better instruction booklet. I have no idea how to use the larger tips that the connector won't fit. Caution these are plastic bags and not reusable.

Great for starters

This is a great starter set for someone who wants to decorate cakes/desserts. And for that, I am giving this 5 stars. However, I didn't realize it did not come with a case. to store everything gin. So I definitely recommend... but also purchase a case to store the stuff in. Because it can get lost EASILY.

It's SO easy to pop a star tip in a bag and swirl on icing for those cupcakes. People will ask where you bought your baked goods. BTW--buttercream made at home is light years better than the canned premade stuff. You're welcome.

Worked well to decorate my son's birthday cake. Used ermine buttercream (never going back to regular buttercream). Mostly used star 21 tip.
