She's 7, 4'6" and the XL was a good size. It fit all of her animals, with some room to spare, and it was comfy & a good size for her to sit on. There is a handle on the top of it, so she can easily take the bag between her room and the play room. Best of all, she's now motivated to clean up her stuffed animals and put them back in the correct place. The material is sturdy & washable.
