I knew that a henna product wouldn’t last very long. It definitely doesn’t smell good either but i was looking for a pure product so I dealt with it. Going into it I didn’t expect much. I have allergic reactions to most chemical products so I did this to try and cover some gray hair and see how it works. The first couple of days after using it, my hair felt a bit chalky but after that, the color was beautiful, natural looking, and my hair felt healthy. I didn’t experience any itching or discomfort. I redo it about every 4 weeks. I am purchasing more but this time I’m going to experiment with blending the colors. Last time I used Chocolate. I don’t know how effective it would be for serious gray hair though. I am only at about 10-15% gray and it works for me.

I am a long time Henna user, i buy my henna from Indian stores and I am well aware of all mixing, prepping requirements. This Henna seems to be ok when mixed but once application started it was crumbling even though there was more than enough liquid, small chunks just would not dissolve. I had it on for 2 hrs. my highlights ( which is what i was trying to cover/blend in) my highlights turned dark copper with almost strawberry hue not a good color, darks didnt get any chocolate color at all. all in all. will not use it again. will go back to indian stores where Henna powder is "fresh" color is saturated and quality of powder top notch.

I was skeptical but desperate. I am very clean conscious and have not dyed my hair in years. The gray was really bringing me down. So I figured I had nothing to lose. I read reviews and was like hmm green can’t be so bad 😂. So Here are the results! Wow! I am a new woman. My hair looks amazing. I mixed half the pouch with hot tap water mixed to a paste and slowly did chunks of hair and out extra on the real gray/ white areas. Waited 1 hour. I think maybe others have had bad results because I feel you need to make sure your hair is free of not “clean” products. I don’t use anything but clean vinegar sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. So maybe that’s why the color came through? I also did an organic nanoplasty right after and the color did not change. I highly recommend this product and will continue to buy it.

The instructions say 30-45min but it’s not enough time . The first couple of days hair looks green . It didn’t cover my grays completely I’m gonna try leaving it for longer see if it works

Don’t buy… not effective at all.

I tried the chocolate color and I love it. When you wash your hair a couple of days after application is when the true color comes out. TIP: After mixing your henna, let it sit for an hour or more to release the dye. The directions are omit this process which is why some people don't get good results. I now have less hair fallout than before and great color. One last thing, if you're looking for something that covers greys, look elsewhere, because it doesn't do that very well.

I wanted to love this product, as I no longer want to use chemical dyes on my greying dark brown hair and thought this would be the perfect solution for me. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. At first, my hair looked great but it only took two days (without even washing) before the grey was showing again. I am going to try the gel version of this product and will write a review. Crossing my fingers this time it will do a better job.

I followed the instructions carefully and used this on untreated hair. The color result was much lighter than expected and barely noticeable compared to the product photos. It also faded quickly after a few washes. This may work for very light hair or a mild tint, but it did not meet my expectations.
