Review: Mirrors, Gloss, Pop, and extreme Hydrophobics! - This is my second time coating a vehicle with Cerakote Ceramic coating but my first time following the full process of letting it cure for 6 days. I probably went the extra mile because I didn't drive it at all after application, until day six, since the instructions say for maximum cure time don't expose to moisture for 5-7 days. It sat in the garage. I washed my car with CarPro Reset, and also used an iron remover + Clay towel to fully decontaminate my Infiniti, after not hand washing since last October (life happens). The product goes on quickly and easily. Ready to wipe off after 3 mins, but I took about 5. I was shocked at the slickness. Cerakote also gives your car a very deep gloss. Do not put this on your glass, since this is not made for glass. I did use another product as a topper, as recommended for all Ceramic coatings however the gloss you see in the photos was the exact same level before I put the topper on. Cerakote by itself gives the car an incredible deep shine. I also rolled through a 15 second rain burst but by the time I got home the car was totally dry. Water can NOT stick to your paint. It just glides right off or evaporates, so its very effective at maximal hyprophobicity if thats what you are looking for. I plan to maintain this amazing coating with P&S Bead Maker and a quick wash every 2-3 weeks.

Exactly what you expect from a ceramic coating. Water beads off. Ease of application and u don’t need a whole lot. The vehicle looks brand new and has a glossy shine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DIY Ceramic - Easy To Apply

Don’t let anyone tell you it takes a professional to ceramic coat you vehicle. That’s not true. I have never applied ceramic coatings to a vehicle before nor was I trained how beyond watching YouTube videos but wanted to try it. Before applying this to my vehicle a neighbor and I split the cost of an order of this Cerakote product. We applied it to an old junky 11 year old dark gray work truck. We chose it because he didn’t care if we screwed it up. This truck has areas where the paint ranges from good condition to beyond hope condition. It has perfect paint and heavily oxidized paint as well as places that look ok but the clearcoat is etched by rainwater. The end result was amazing. The hood where the paint was pretty good looks showroom perfect now. Like a mirror. The oxidized paint areas was greatly improved and we found that this stuff fills in and corrects small clear coat scratches. But the fact that we applied this product ourselves with no prior experience and did a good job is the point. Just find a YouTube video. Follow the instructions. Done. Perhaps other ceramic coating are more difficult. I don’t know. But this one is easy and if you could screw it up I probably would have but didn’t. I’ve used Cerakote trim coating and also the headlight restorer kits before. All very easy to use. Very DIY friendly. Great results. This product is just as good. Highly recommend it.
