Sweet spot for price/storage/capabilities
I have an HP Omen laptop, that I'm very happy with, so decided to stick with HP when looking for something for my daughter. This model was right in the sweet spot for price vs memory vs storage vs graphics card. She's not a heavy gamer, but this has plenty of headroom for gaming. This should last her through college and beyond.Excellent screen, full keyboard (with numeric pad) and high quality build feel.

Buy this if you don't want to build your own PC :)
Thankfully the specs came as listed. First thing I did was open up the laptop to check, note this might void your warranty so don't do this unless you're committed. I think the one thing I don't like is that it seems like this might be a repurposed laptop.I say this because the box it came in was listed as different specs, and whoever shipped this laptop (Not HP) slapped a sticker on the side with 'updated' specs. I also don't think the SSD and the RAM cards are OEM, but that's okay as long as they work!I fired up Cities Skylines 1 to see how it would handle and it did just fine. CUP got up to 27% during gameplay and the GPU got up to 30-ish% as well. The fan is LOUD but that's to be expected, if you hate loud noises, keep it pushing. This is definitely not a 'travel' laptop, so if you're a business person I'd suggest a diff model. This thing is H E A V Y. Yes- the top part is flimsy but why are you messing with it anyways? Just keep it upright and you're fine.Very easy to upgrade the RAM slot, I put 32 GB in mine and put the 16Gb it came with in another laptop.Overall I think you can actually build your own budget build for the same price if not less, but if you're not a builder then this will be perfect mid-range option to run most games these days and get your work done :).I bought this because I wanted to upgrade from my Dell Inspiron 3501 that was running on an integrated graphics card and the lowest tier of the i5 family available.Oh- one last thing, it will get hot but surprisingly the fans do their job, if you put your hand on the laptop while gaming you'll only feel the heat in two main areas: the GPU housing area and the brand logo where the monitor is. Otherwise the fans do their job.Right out the box, I downloaded all updates set up the computer and ran Cities Skylines for 6 hours on med/high settings. :)

Extreme performance crashing after 35 days
After about 35 days the computer just absolutely tanked in performance. I was getting 85fps in vr chat, and a solid 60fps in Roblox studioThen I started getting issues 2 weeks into having the laptop, I’ve contacted support which fixed the problems temporarily but after about 4-5 days the issues came backThen I thought customer support would be able to help return this because obviously they sent me a faulty laptop but nopeI just gotta take their mistake, and get no window to return it. Horrible purchase and customer support is really badBut at your own risk

Nice affordable laptop
Bought this for my wife to do light hobby photo editing and very light gaming. So far it has been performing well. Yes it gets a little warm and the fans are a little loud but it's a thin light laptop with decent specs at a decent price so going to have to compromise somewhere. I set it up with a basic cooling pad and it's been great. Battery life is short but again lightweight thin small laptop so it's to be expected somewhat.

Great Portable Gaming Box!
This is a fantastic on the go gaming box. I use it for Dr. Offices and long waits at other places to pass the time! It handles the games well and preforms well for this use. It helps make the time go faster, which was the original purchase purpose.
