Rx Vitamins Essentials for Dogs - Daily Vitamins & Minerals - 8 oz

I am extremely impressed with this RX essentials vitamin supplement for dogs. I have a 15-year-old American bully who has pancreatitis and must be on a strict low fat diet. Within 24 hours of starting her on (half the dose) of this supplement it shaved 10 years off her life. I got home from work the day after I started this supplement and she comes running down the hallway to greet me. Usually I have to wake her up but she is so full of energy and vitality now. Even her mood is better. She's acting like a puppy again!!!! I don't know what you put in this supplement but it's having amazing results on my angel. You guys have to try this supplement. Also my angel is a very very very picky eater and she eats her ground turkey with the supplement on it no problem. I think they know what's good for them. This is my go to supplement for the rest of my life for my dogs.

I have spent a great deal of time researching dog supplements because I feed my dog a carefully prepared home-cooked diet rather than kibble. My dog is a senior who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and this decision came from wanting to give him the cleanest, most supportive nutrition possible in hopes of maintaining his strength, comfort, and quality of life — and, hopefully, adding more good days to our time together. When feeding home-cooked meals, proper supplementation matters. I found that many products labeled “multivitamin” were actually treats, enzyme blends, or omega supplements that did not provide the essential vitamins and trace minerals required to balance a fresh diet. We like to make homemade dog food and try to make it nutritious but there are always issues with getting the right/enough vitamins and minerals. I like this product the best. I add it to their food and stir it in. I don't know what it tastes like but they don't have any problem eating the food so I guess it tastes fine. Reasonable price, the dogs eat it, and they have shiny coats - and too much energy.

Container came only half full.

My dog's Vet has me using this for our dog to improve the dog's vitamin and mineral content. It's definitely improved the dog's overall well-being. I don't recall specifically how it's improved my dog's health because we introduced this in addition to a ton of other changes at the same time. Plus that was a few years ago, as well. But just knowing that he has this mineral supplement in with the rest of his meal, I know that my dog is getting a good healthy balance of vitamins and minerals in his diet. And I know it's going to improve his overall health moving forward.

I have the pickiest of dogs, I’ve tried 4-5 multivitamins for my pup and he wouldn’t go near any of them. Ollie actually gave his paw to the container before I mixed it with anything! Love that this product doesn’t have digestive enzymes or yeast, perfect for my senior pup with sensitivities. Just what he needs to supplement his home cooked meals, nothing superfluous.

When I ordered this- it says available for return till April 18th- my dog will not eat his meals with these supplement added- I went to return and received a message that it was no available for return- so something is amiss here-- I will take this up with Amazon- the product has a very strong odor-no sneaking it in on my boy- as long as don't add this to his food he eats just fine- I do not recommend this product-

I think this stuff is saving my dog’s life. The last 7 months he has only been able to eat 1 single source of protein due to extreme IBD issues. He has been slowly wasting away. I started adding the Rx Essentials into his food 10 days ago because he truly has had basically 0 nutrients aside from lamb and chicken meat. He has shown so much improvement and energy. His eyes don’t seem so dull now. Rx Vitamins so a trustworthy company! I highly recommend them. I’m waiting on their Zymes and Biotic powder to come in the mail, too. I trust this company!

I always use RX Vitamins brand for my dogs. They are best!

Sprinkle on the pet food.

This product is not a homogenous mixture and will not be no matter how much you mix it. If you are using a really large quantity then it may be okay. However, if you have a small dog and want to use only a small amount, you will likely not get a balanced blend of nutrients and this could lead to over doses of A and D vitamins as well as copper toxicity. About the taste, one of my dogs tolerates the taste, the other refuses to eat his food with this in it.

Good product, but can be purchased from a vet at the same price this seller used to charge - approximately $60.00. Also, size of the container is wasteful as product fills half the size of the containers.
