PURE SYNERGY Organic Barley Grass Juice Powder (5.3 oz.)

I already purchased around 4 or 5 bottles of this barley grass juice powder, so thank God they are on prime shipping! It is always in stock and I get this delivered in 2 days consistently. It is definitely high quality barley grass juice, and the powder is a rich dark green (which is the way it should be). My 7 year old drinks this stuff along with me, and she has NO problem at all with the taste (and she can be picky!). I think the taste is fine since I actually mix one heaping teaspoon of this with blueberries, and I can barely tell it is there. Adding the juice of one lemon may also help, but it is not really necessary. I understand this helps to move heavy metals out of the body and detoxifies in general, especially when taken with Hawaiian Spirulina. It also helps keep the body more alkaline as well. It is good for those experiencing hypothyroid... so I will update on that later. Gives good natural energy for sure, especially when drinking this on a daily basis.

After I saw one reviewer complain that there weren't 60 servings in the jar, I decided to weigh it. Using an empty jar to zero my food scale, I found that it weighed in at 157 grams. My next purchase weighed in at 159 grams. Now there are 2 absorbers buried in the powder; these turned out to be 8 grams. So we have 149 or 151 grams of powder, with the label claiming 150 grams. Perhaps that reviewer didn't measure a level half tablespoon, but heaped a bit. It's hard to make it exactly level. In any case, I think it's a great product.

Tastes great, love that it comes in easy open glass jar, those bags are so messy and cumbersome. Will come back to the jar.

I've been drinking barley powder for about 5 years now, nothing but great things to say about it and I've told many people about it who also love it. I used to use "Just Barley" brand but discovered this one a little while back which is a much better value. With either brand, barley powder gives me more energy, clearer thinking, and one of the biggest wins is overall digestive health, to name a few benefits. Within a couple weeks or so of starting the regimen of a tbsp. in the morning and a tbsp. just before bed (start off with less than a tbsp for beginners) you will notice "a cleaning sensation" of your digestive tract, believe me, you will feel great after about a month of this, if you're overweight the results should be even better!! I typically do this for two months then go back to just once a day for a few months then back to twice a day to get a good clean in. I will likely continue to use barley powder the rest of my life. It's easier than growing my own wheatgrass or barley and juicing it, plus its likely cheaper in the end, not to mention the time. I know fresh is better but this is certainly a great shortcut to growing your own. As for the mixing of it, I used to use a shaker bottle but have been using a nutribullet for the last year, it foams on the top for a few minutes but it certainly integrates the powder the best in liquids. There's plenty of documented benefits of chlorophyll and greens in general so get yourself a bottle and enjoy!!

This is a very fine powder, so light that it can be hard to stir into water or another liquid. But it tastes pretty good and just feels like primo quality food

I've been drinking barley grass juice from powder for years, and this is hands down the best quality I've found. It has a rich concentrated chlorophyll flavor; as it should. I feel it has a good calming, detoxifying, and stabilizing effect on my system. If you're new to barely grass, start off with small quantities, and don't eat really rich foods before or after. It is highly alkali so dumping a cheese burger and coke on it afterwards can mess with your digestive chemistry. My wife likes to add it to her smoothies, I enjoy it straight from the shaker bottle mixed with water- blending or shaker bottle is a must- it does not dissolve easily in water.

Hello everyone I realize how important ratings and reviews are because I look for them now to see how products work. I've been using this product since Thanksgiving. I bought it ,because I was told it was good for people that had asthma. I got tired of using my asthma pump being so dependent on something for my breathing and it was becoming too much. I really didn't want to write a review yet until I did until I've tried this product for over a course of six months , but I just had to post a review a little bit earlier because my results are phenomenal I have only use my inhaler about five times since November and that's great since I was using it every single day a couple times a day. I can't believe how I feel this product gives you amazing energy and it's the truth. This product is a very good using it as a dietary supplement also because every morning when I take it with my orange juice I don't eat breakfast its basically my breakfast. I take green barley powder with the orange juice and then I don't eat until about 12 or 1 o'clock so I take it in the morning about 8 o'clock. Well that's all for now I will be writing of you a review in May because that's my six months review to see how overall how does product has really worked for me. thank you and anybody that's looking to try this product should. It's great for so many health reasons you can't go wrong you need to put this in your every day regiment

Oh My GOSH!!! This is the best green powder I have had an a really long time!! The first taste I had of it, and it tasted, well.. GREEN. How else to explain it ? IT is exactly what it tastes like. Green, fresh and yum! Very mild. I have been using Hawaiian spirulina for many years,, it is much harsher than this for sure. Each person has their own constitution that fits some green powders more than others. I feel so energized and vital after drinking this. My son got this for me as a gift, and I am soo grateful ! I love the purity of this product. It comes in a glass jar, which is great, no plastics leaching into the powder, and also fully easily recyclable. I will absolutely be purchasing this product again ! * Update Feb 10 2018 I have been using Pure Synergy Barely Grass Juice Powder for several months now and STILL love it! It feels really good in my body and tastes great in smoothies. :D ( And still appreciating that it comes in a Glass bottle.. ( Which, I reuse for other things, a valuable bottle for sure !)

After about a month or two open in the cupboard the entire contents became a massive goopy block that was near impossible to separate by a spoon.

Lovely mild taste. You can easily whisk this into water for alkalising and part of heavy metal detox. Good it comes in dark glass bottle. Recommend!
