Based on prior reviews I read, upon arrival I figured this item was going to be returned to Amazon due to the condition of the box during shipping. This item took a pretty good drop based on a corner of the box being smashed in. The side of the box had a massive gouge, probably 7 inches long by 3 inches high, where if you pushed it you could see inside of the box. Yet, when I opened it, removed the dehydrator, there was zero damage to the unit due to the Styrofoam protection. I ran the unit empty for the 30 minutes recommended in the user manual with zero issues. Then spent the next 10 hours making some delicious beef jerky. It ran flawlessly, and as quiet as a very small fan running. With my old dehydrator, we had to turn up the tv volume because of the noise it produced. I do a lot of dehydrating, so I'll update this review if anything goes south, but as for now, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

I hav cooked fruit leather, dried egg shells, made jerky and everything turned out delicious or how I wanted it!!!

This product works better than anticipated. It took only 6 hours at 130 degrees to do all 10 trays of herbs, even with the liners. Liners fit perfectly on the trays and stay in place when sliding tray into position. I can’t wait to try the fruit roll up trays. Wish Amazon would ask me for another review of this product in a year.

I have been hesitating whether to buy a dehydrator. This machine definitely confirms my choice. It is worth buying. The size is large enough to fit 10 trays. I can make a good batch of jerky at once and eat with no fear of consuming too much unknown chemicals. The stainless steel is thick and seems sturdy. Much better quality than some of the other stainless steel product I recent purchased. Overall it looks very sharp. Love it!

I buy this dehydrator because my husband really likes to make dry fruit himself, and then make tea. This dehydrator is very professional because it really work great! It got a good taste after it. Very easy to use and clean. I also like the capacity, there’s really a room for the fruit. Overall, it’s good.

I have been using it for a short few months so far. It does a really great job. It's easy to use. I've been using it at least 3 times a week because I love eating the dried fruit as a snack so much.
