I didn't dislike the carry all because Idk if it's the strap or what makes it go all lopsided bc the cylinder should have all the weight to center It all. But I use the torch for smelting, and it's awesome. No more torch tips directly on the cylinder, so much lighter.

This operates perfectly and was easy to use. For the price point I feel that the quality is relatively good, not necessarily high quality but also doesn’t feel like it is going to break or fall apart. Fairly light weight, overall decent product.

It works well. Even in the unconventional way I'm using it: I have some very very recalcitrant [invasive] plants/weeds in my yard and I've successfully eliminated them by trimming then scorching them. I've tried two so-called eco-friendly herbicides but they kept growing back and bushier even.The flame was reliable and strong. The knob is easy to use and stayed put. Ignition was prompt and instant. Good product!

This particular torch uses a plastic housing for the handle and is very light weight. Also, when opening the box, there was a strong solvent smell, possibly from the plastic. While it eventually went away, I thought it was so strong initially I felt it worth mentioning. The trigger is also plastic and, while it seems to work OK, I wonder how many times it can be used before it wears out. However, it has worked just fine so far. I'm used to a heavier, aluminum torch housing so it's fair to say I'm a bit biased.Rather than attach directly to the cylinder, this one uses a small hose that attaches instead which allows you to place the cylinder in the provided carry pouch. This is great as long as you use the long, thin propane and map gas cylinders sold at various hardware and big box stores. However, if you wish to use the shorter & wider propane cylinders often used for camping, this will not work.While I wouldn't put this on the same level as the more expensive brand name torches out there, depending on your needs, this should get the job done just fine. Personally, I picked up this torch to use when camping to help start campfires and the like. However, I have no doubt that, should I need it for something else such as a quick plumbing repair or something similar, it would certainly work.

Plastic knob broke immediately, doesn't stay lit, sloppy flame . Oh and it's non refundable. Don't buy this thing, it sucks

We have some nasties in our garden. One place has called devils walking cane regrowing. I usually sling a rope around it and pull it out with my car. Obviously missed some. This time I torched it and the surrounding area. Take that Mr Devil. If you don't know what it is, it is a straight stemmed plant with spikes up and down. Even with gloves you can get stabbed. Hence the car trick.I also torched an area of thistles that are almost as bad. I hope it dies the job. At least it was fun!This is a great high intensity flame device. Many applications I can see, even with thr Bbq.

Worked great first few times like the long hose but next time I used it installed propane tank got set in place turned gas valve and knob and lock ring fell off
