The plot was well woven and the characters were plentiful and interesting but you have to wonder what the police were doing 🤔

This is such an unputdownable story. More twists and turns than your average maze. A thoroughly enjoyable book. I'm now curious as to if the full story of Kyle's death will ever come out. Ingenious writing.

First book I've read by Claire but certainly won't be the last. It grips you from the beginning to the end, so many twists that you can't possibly believe the end when you finally read it.

I was utterly blown away from the moment I opened the first page I was instantly hooked. I could not stop turning the page watching the story unfold and I kept wondering to myself , why does this book make me feel so nostalgic? And then I realised what it was, the book to me is very similar to some of the most amazing female lead 90's thriller movies we got back in the 90's and those type of movies I adore and still adore, you know things like Single White Female, Sleeping with the enemy and so many others to many to mention. It is not because the book is set in that era it just has that thrilling element to it that you got with those type of movies and I just adored this book, I did not want it to end and I have been telling everyone I know to read it because it is the perfect thrilling book. I highly recommend for men /women and all in between , it has mass appeal especially if you like a very fast paced page turner.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is a budding detective! She can usually solve a crime reading a book like this quite easily. She just loved this book, so I would definitely recommend it.
