Mother In Law Kimchi Muu Daikon Radish, 16 oz

My husband had to open this for me. He objected to the smell -. He doesn't like kimchi, which I have trouble understanding. It came well packed and cool from the ice packs it was surrounded by. I tried some straight from the jar as soon as it was open. It is so delicious. The radishes themselves don't retain the crisp texture of some I've had, but not mushy, either. This kimchi is nice and spicy, very tangy and very pleasing to the eye! The next day, I had some sticky rice, so I heated some radish kimchi and ate them. I ran out of kimchi before the rice, so I ate some more cold right out of the fridge. I enjoyed that, too. I ate way more than I'd intended to. Tomorrow, I'll cook the last of it with my eggs. I've already ordered more. It is expensive, but I'm hooked. I'll eat this until I can get to a local Asian market to see if they have this. Edited to add after subsequent orders - the first jar of this was the only one that wasn't as crisp as I'd come to expect. Subsequent jars have been completely excellent.

If you like your kimchi sour, you might like this brand. It’s not super hot. Actually, it’s not hot at all.

I love it! i do wish the radishes were a little crunchier but overall the flavor is so good

I tried this but the radish was a lot softer than expected; melted in my mouth. These had no crunch at all; more like mashed potatoes in a cube shape.

Very yummy, ordered through amazon fresh so the freshness was there.

So disappointed, I'm gonna have to throw this crap away. It was delivered surprisingly fast though 2 days before the expected delivery date.

I really love radish kimchi as a Korean. This time I expected to have this kimchi so much, but it was totally rotted once I opened, and exploded. The seller said me the original smell is like that, but I already know how the kimchi smell is as I am a Korean. I guess the problem was the hot weather as I ordered this item during the late summer. The seller has packed this kimchi so well but it had already become too much softened in the hot temperature so that I needed to throw away every bite of radish. Thanks for the seller as he/she immediately tried to understand my experience this time and refund it. I would buy this item again at grocery stores nearby me.

My daughter's favorite Kimchi! She loves that I can keep her stocked up on this!
