This product is truly amazing. I am turning 50 in one month and spend a lot of money on beauty care. This is so inexpensive and works so well! It's non-drying but gets my skin perfectly clean without any damage to my lash extensions. I use exfoliants to get rid of the surface cells on my skin, so I prefer a gentle cleanser to keep my skin happy. This is PERFECT! I love that I can buy a refill since I keep a bottle at my sink and one in my shower. When one of the bottles gets low I simply fill it up. No wasted plastic! It's also great to fill up little containers for when you are traveling.

For reference I have fairly sensitive and dry skin and live in a dry climate (Colorado). After trying the La Roche Posay Gentle Cleanser I can attest that it is extremely gentle! It provides minimal cleansing without feeling drying or harsh whatsoever. I was surprised that it didn't lather and it felt like I was rubbing a thick gel around my face. I will say in terms of cleansing power it does do the bare minimum, the formulation feels very basic which can be a pro or con depending on your needs. For me this works well when I double cleanse. I wear makeup and sunscreen, so I oil cleanse first and then use La Roche Posay to remove any residue. I personally don't rely on La Roche Posay to remove anything heavy. But I can see how this simple and gentle formulation is beneficial to anyone who wants to completely avoid irritants. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this to anyone who has really sensitive skin or is trying to repair their skin barrier. It's also a suitable secondary cleanser.

I love La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser because it does not irritate my acne-prone skin. I use this after makeup remover and in the morning. It's fragrance-free and do not foam. I avoid foaming cleanser because it dries my skin too much. I definitely will continue to use this product!

I have rosacea and this is the best face cleanser. Goes on like a gel, feels nice and soothing, and still removes stubborn makeup. Worth the money!

If you’re already a fan of the Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, the refill is an easy recommendation, but it will overfill when adding the pump’s volume to the bottle. You get the same excellent product in a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly package, and I’ll continue buying the refill instead of replacing the entire bottle.

It fit perfectly into my existing bottle and was easy to pour in. When I first poured it in it was kind of liquidy, but I can't remember what I did to make it thicker. I think I ended up shaking it and it made it the right consistency again but I can't remember 😂
