It's currently being used as an extruder knob for a 3D printer. I upgraded the extruder and it had the stepper motor shaft exposed for the purpose of feeding the filament, however the plastic knob warped at higher temps. This gear has the perfect bore size, with 2 set screws to secure it in place.
