Great Quality Sandbox — Perfect for Multiple Kids and Built to Last
We recently purchased this sandbox for our 4-year-old and 1-year-old, and it has been a wonderful addition to our backyard. Both of my children are able to fit in it comfortably at the same time, with room to play, dig, and explore. We are truly enjoying it so much already. One of my favorite features is the bench seating with storage, it keeps toys organized and easily accessible. The folding cover is also a huge plus because it helps keep out critters, leaves, and debris when the sandbox is not in use. That alone gives me peace of mind as a parent. The sun protector canopy is another great feature. You can adjust and angle it as needed, but for safety purposes with little ones, we’ve decided to keep ours stationary for now. It still provides excellent shade during outdoor playtime. The wood quality is very nice and feels safe and sturdy, and overall this was a very good buy. I can definitely see this lasting for years, even with daily use from active kids. About the sand: Many reviews mentioned using 4–5 bags of sand, but we personally only used two 50-lb bags of the All-Natural Play Sand from Lowe’s, and it filled the sandbox just fine for our needs. We did purchase 5–6 bags to be prepared, but two worked well to start. My husband plans to add one more bag, but how much you use really depends on how full you want it. Helpful tip for parents: The sand sits on top of a black fabric liner, so it’s not sealed or secured at the bottom. If you plan to relocate the sandbox later, keep that in mind. That’s also why I chose not to overfill it — especially since my 1-year-old is still learning not to put things in his mouth. Just something to consider when setting it up. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this sandbox to other families, especially those with toddlers and young children. It’s safe, functional, and thoughtfully designed. Definitely a purchase we’re happy with!

Great size, thoughtful design, and perfect for outdoor play
We got this sandbox for our daughter as an Easter gift, and she has loved it. She plays in it almost every day. The benches are a great feature because they give her a place to sit while playing and also fold over to cover the sandbox when it's not in use. The side storage compartment is handy for keeping sand toys organized, and the canopy was one of the main reasons we chose this model. It does a great job providing shade while she plays outside. It's already been through some unpredictable Colorado weather and summer storms and has held up well. The size is just right and gives her plenty of room to play.

Very nice Sandpit
Love the sand box, my kid loves the sand box. It has a nice design and isn't too complicated to put together they even give you the tools. Though I'd recommend using and electric screwdriver to make it easier. Now some of the down sides are that the top cover doesnt effectively keep water out and off itself as ive noticed water pooling up on it. The top also turns way to easily no matter how tight you try tighting the nobs. I'd recommend two more wood bars going across to maybe keep the fabric tighter and keep water from pooling but that just an idea. It's got good sun protection though. Also maybe splitting the toy bin section in half and adding hinges so that it can open and close would be nice as sometimes it gets stuck on the bar to hold the roof up and my kid just forgets that it opens so if it opened with hinges I know he'd be opening and closing it just to do it. The sand box does hold a lot of sand I look at some reviews before getting it some people said it took like 8 bags some said it took 3. I personally recommend 4. They are 50 pound bags of play sand lowes sells them it'll be like at least 20 bucks maybe less to get them. Considering kids are gonna be throwing the sand out I wouldn't fill it all the way up 4 bags seems to be enough to cover all the bottom and still be able to dig down. The seats are nice and if you are too tall you can sit in there with them. The durability is nice I haven't moved it yet considering there is sand in it but its held up to the storms we've been having lately and the beams holding the roof haven't broken so thats a plus. For the price its a nice sand pit. My kids literally goes to it every time he's outside and the sand getting a little wet isnt bad just makes it more moldable to make sand castles.

Easily damaged, difficult, not worth it
You cannot lift or lower the cover unless you have two people or an incredibly strong 6’3 man doing it. It’s flimsy. We had a small storm come through and it already has damage from it- and we’ve had it assembled less than a week. Absolutely not worth $50, let alone what I paid!! If it were worth the effort of disassembling, I’d return.
