90s Flashback
Been on the hunt for this style ever since I saw the Prada version. These start off comfortable but got uncomfortable after a few hours. Still so stylish, gives an edge to lots of outfits and the bubblegum scent is fun!

What a scam! Melissa KNOWINGLY SELLS USED and RETURNED shoes. These do NOT arrive in a Melissa shoe box. ALL new Melissa shoes come in a Melissa shoe box. Soooooooo disappointing!

Surprised and Disappointed
I bought these after my favorite nude gold Carlie Croc sandals finally broke after 8 years of perfect comfort and style. Mary Jane styled, I thought these Melissa sandals would be my next high quality, long lasting, all day work sandal. Knowing Melissa as a quality brand, I bought these. They came with a piece of white painters tape stuck in one strap. When I removed it, I saw some adhesive that wasn't adhered and a gap where the strap connects to the inner sole. I'm hoping that for the money, these shoes won't fall apart in the future. Next the comfort... these are no where near as comfortable as a gorgeous croc sandal. These are heavy, clunky, has a hard base with no give, and barely any cushion. Your feet don't get any soft rebound support like crocs do. I can handle the weight and like that they're sturdy for the height but time will tell if they're an all day shoe. I'm an administrator for a school and I'm walking all day on different flooring: concrete, blacktop, carpet, stairs, rocks, grass and hardwood. I probably should have gotten an 8.5 (I'm an 8) but I didn't want to risk the arch not matching. I'm on the last buckle hole when I put these on and the shoes fit exactly, with no room for styling with socks for fall or if my feet swell throughout the day. As long as I don't eat salt, don't get pregnant, don't be too active, they should be OK. The smell isn’t terrible. It's a sweet plastic smell. I actually like it. I'll see if it can handle scuffs or how they clean. Time will tell.
