I quickly realised this wasn't the coffee's fault—the medium grind is just too coarse for an espresso machine, causing the water to rush through it too fast. Once I switched to the Exhale Fine Espresso Grind, everything changed.The difference was night and day. It now extracts perfectly, producing a rich, smooth espresso with a beautiful crema. Flavour-wise, it is incredibly balanced and completely lacks that harsh, bitter aftertaste you get with cheaper brands. Because it is a true medium roast, it has lovely, slightly bright and fruity undertones. It has been an absolute revelation to me that with high-quality coffee like this, I don’t even require sugar or sweetener anymore—the natural flavour is that smooth!
