Acne Banishing Body Spray, 2% Salicylic Acid, For Body, 6 oz

I started breaking out really bad on my back right after I turned 26. I tried a little bit of everything but this is the product that actually worked for me. Pros: Pretty easy to apply, still sprays upside down which is great for hard to reach places, noticeable results in 2 weeks, fully cleared up 2 months later Cons: Stinks. So bad. Hold your breath and spray somewhere where the smell will be contained. Smell doesn’t last once it dries down but the aerosol is nasty. I also notice when I skip a day, I’ll have a break out after that so this does require consistency. Also dries out your skin a bit but that’s fixable with a moisturizer. Will also bleach fabric but haven’t noticed problems with my clothes if I seal with a lotion Method that worked for me: Start with an antibacterial soap, I get the cheap dial bars. Also get an exfoliating rag, one you can toss in the washer, preferably long enough that you can hold either end to scrub the entirety of your back with your new soap. Anti bacterial soap is also great for smelling good longer so bonus. Once I’m clean I dry off my upper body completely, any water will make the product slimy. I then get back in the shower, hold my breath, and spray quickly before getting out of the shower. This seems to contain the smell and over spray pretty well. I pat myself down with just my hands to distribute the rest of the product and do the rest of my face while I wait for it to dry down and then finish with an aveeno moisturizer.

I got this on a whim one time and I keep coming back to it. This works so well to help with body acne and doesn't feel too sticky, too messy or make me feel too dirty. I put it on fresh off a shower and let it dry before I put on lotion or get dressed. If you put it on immediately , you'll get your clothes a bit sticky and filmy. it didn't stain any of my clothes either which I really appreciate. I feel like this has really cut down on the acne on my back and legs. I also use it on my chest and it's helped a lot.

This product is awesome! It definitely help clear up body acne pretty quickly and effectively. My only complaint would be the lingering smell after it is applied, but I think that is expected with this brand and type of product.

Works well, but the smell after you spray really chokes you out! I have to hold my breath and spray my back, shoulders etc and then hurry and leave the room to breathe again lol it’s really that bad. It makes you cough and hurts your throat. It does work well though.. especially in this Florida summer heat. I don’t have nearly any breakouts.

This is a great spray. Easy to apply. Perfect for underarms, inner thighs, buttocks. After a hot day, this is very handy and keeps body acne at bay. Mild on the skin.

Really impressed with the PanOxyl Acne Banishing Body Spray. I don't doubt that it treats acne well when used regularly, but I wouldn't know, because I can't stand the texture! It's extremely greasy/oily and takes forever to dry, even after rubbing it into my skin. It also smells bad and is irritating to the lungs when sprayed. Personally I'd rather just use a lotion with SA in it.

I literally love Panoxyl's products so much, their formulas are so effective for treating acne and PREVENTING it from breaking out as easily. I've bought the body spray so many times, genuinely one of the biggest game changers for back acne, and I'll even use it on my face. Have not seen a breakout in a long time since adding this to my routine. I hope they come out with a liquid bottle variation of this, similar to The Ordinary's glycolic acid bottle. But for now this is working wonderfully.
