Trying to Correct Bad Reviews
I saw all the really bad reviews but took a chance anyway because i coach soccer year round at a variety of ages and levels of play and give shin guards away like crazy to kids and teens who seem to always forget theirs... these were an add-on for $2-3 and i couldn't resist. Here's my review: they are "Adult slip in shin guards without compression sleeves"; this is what shin guards are today, they are meant to be as light and thin as possible. Many players do not like the larger shin guards from "back in the day" (though i still wear ankle guards separated from a slightly larger shin guard higher up on my shin) this kind is exactly what is worn by most players now at most levels (honeslty most kids don't even want to wear them at all and try to wear smallest possible for ball control and such though i dont agree with this or allow it this is the mentality). Also, these are sized correctly, the large are a actually a little to long if you're under 6'. I also sized them on my kids whose ages 7-13 and heights 4'-6' vary. So here is my observation: if you are over 6' or have larger legs get a large if you want the extra coverage; if under 6' (or don't want the extra coverage) get the medium... for most adults and teens i would say medium; i would only get a small if i was small framed an/or under 12. I hope this helps some of the bad ratings, unless others received a totally different product these are a steal at about $2-3... just ordered 5 more!

Bad for soccer, like my husband.
These are the wrong size for adults. My husband ordered these for soccer; he’s an average sized fella and these looked like toddler sized shin guards. He’s not very good at soccer and needs all the help he can get, so if your husband is bad too, don’t get these.

I shop a lot of amazon and I realize that ...
I shop a lot of amazon and I realize that not everything is as it seems. However this is the most absurdly advertised, misleading product there is. I ordered a “men’s medium”. These shin guards are not large enough to fit my 3 year old daughter. I would advise not to purchase these unless your child who learned how to walk yesterday is in need of shin guards to protect themselves from potential falls. How is a man 4’7”-5’3” to fit in these when my hand is larger? There is also the fact that I bought them for over 15$ and the sticker on the package says MRSP 9.99$.

If you're an adult and like wearing minimalist shinguards and are over 5'5
These run smaller than any other shinguards I have ever had. I typically wear the smallest Nike's I can find, but for these, a medium would be about the right size for a 5-7 year old. If you're an adult and like wearing minimalist shinguards and are over 5'5, get the large, otherwise, it wont even sit on your shin properly because its so small and curved so much, it would only really fit around a PVC pipe.

these mens size small shin guards are way too small ...
these mens size small shin guards are way too small for my eight year old son. Measurements need to be included in description.

Excellent product, with poor sizing
Great quality but sizing is a huge miss, was ordered for my 13 year old but had to be used by my 6 year old as they are really tiny. The fitment info in product description is garbage.

Great! Watch out for the size
Comfortable, good quality sizing is a little strange. The small size is WAY smaller than the medium. Once I got the right size they worked great.

A+ quality! Legitimate UA product.
Perfect for my 3 year old. We ordered a medium and they are just his size. I'd buy another pair but these will fit him for another season or two.Sizes are in Youth, but are high quality!

These shin guards come in standard sizing, they’re not too small
One thing people fail to realize is with this type of shin guard that fits in a sleeve or simply under your sock, is it’s not supposed to cover the entire shin bone, so they are not ‘too small’ like many of the reviews I’ve seen here. If full coverage of the shin bone is what you’re looking for, then get shin guards that have the ankle protection built in. I bought size L for my 11 year old to cover as much as his shin as possible and think they’re actually a little too big for him, but he likes them and he’ll be able to wear them for years to come. I’m looking at getting a new pair for myself (I’m 6’ tall) and I’d buy size medium for my personal preference. If you’re going to buy this style of shin guard, you don’t want them so big that they’ll slide down and rub against the top of your cleats. Something to keep in mind regarding sizing....

Child size
These are child sizes, not men’s.The description needs to be corrected (the title currently says they are men’s shin pads).I ordered small and they are a tiny 6 inches long with a curvature far too small for even the skinniest adult.I know that ghost shin pads are meant to be shorter than regular shin pads and I know that some other reviewers have discussed whether the sizing is small.People who ordered them for children think that the sizing is fine but people who ordered them for adults do not.The misunderstanding seems to come from the package labelling. On the front it says small (3’11” to 4’7”), so that is clearly child sizing. On the back it has a sticker saying men’s small. It seems that someone has put ‘men’s small’ stickers onto ‘child small’ packaging.Otherwise it is a nice quality product and I got a no quibble refund from Amazon.

Fit Very Small
Fit small , however, decided to keep them for when the kids get older. More of a large youth size.
