I would recommend it to anyone . After having major jaw surgery and the only thing I could use was mild heat . This did the trick .

it's soft and comfortable and warms my face up just right. It does not get hot, which is actually good cause I don't have to worry about burning myself like I do with regular heating pads. But it gets nice and warm is soft and works just fine very comfortable. I like the timer. The size is perfect for my face and it really relaxed my muscles.

I purchased this for TMJ pain relief, and like many other reviewers, I experienced the same major problem: it barely gets warm even on the highest setting. The power cord gets warmer than the actual heating pad, which defeats the entire purpose of buying a heat therapy product. What Doesn't Work: • Heat output is insufficient - Even on "high" it's barely lukewarm • Velcro doesn't hold securely - It shifts around once it warms up (the little heat there is) • Quality control issues - Stopped working after initial use • False advertising - Marketed for pain relief but can't generate enough heat to actually help The Only Silver Lining: The design and adjustable strap are fine in theory, but they're meaningless when the core function—heating—doesn't work. I followed the directions exactly and gave it multiple attempts. Bottom Line:This product failed to deliver on its basic promise. I received a refund and threw it away. Don't make the same mistake. If you need a heating pad for TMJ or wisdom teeth recovery, look elsewhere. This isn't worth the money or the disappointment.

It could get hotter but it works if you lay down on your side it gets a bit hotter I'm going to try to sleep with it on

My step son had surgery on his jaw. He really liked this heat pack because he could put it on, set the temp, and play video games or something to distract himself rather than sitting there holding it like the others.
