Wow! Where do I start?!I thought I’d give these a try - for £13 I wasn’t expecting anything long lasting, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The bottom trays are very sturdy, and the cells are not paper thin plastic. The lids are a little flimsy, however I don’t think this will be an issue. The grow lights work very well, and after only 4 days my Verbena seeds have started to germinate, which I’m over the moon with.The lights themselves are incorporated into the vents, and are powered by micro usb’s. They are very bright, not sure if they’re full spectrum as I’ve got no way to test this, however the quick germination must mean something.Each tray has 12 cells, and you get 5 trays. They are a nice size and don’t take up too much room. They’re basically plug and play! So easy to set up. I think that these propagators are fantastic value for money!

These are Brilliant seed trays and easy to put together. They are good Value, Tested the lights and they worked no problems, tested the current draw and it varied between 2A to 2.4A, So you will need a USB Adaptor that will deliver at least 3A 15W. The USB plug gets warm at this current, To over come this i used a multi output USB Adaptor and ran 3 lights on the enclosed lead and ran the other two separately. They are sturdy and easy to clean. I sowed some Chilli and Bell pepper seeds and after a couple of days they germinated then turned the lights on via home assistant from dawn to dusk and now have good looking plants.Only 4 stars due to USB plug getting warmPros:Ease the put togetherWorked out of the boxCons:High current USB adaptor neededUSB Plug gets warmI have ordered a second one

*as promised I have changed review*Works perfectly and the lights are fantastic! When I first tried it, the lights didn't work! I was using an iPhone plug at the time. I am now using a anker plug and its working perfectly! I did think the cable or lights were faulty to begin with and I left a 1 star review! Now that I have found out it was my actual plug and not the item itself I had to change my review! To anyone who has read this and maybe bought one and the lights don't work! Try it with a different plug like I did please. This is a great product and im pleased with my purchase

The charger wire was faulty, so lights never worked. I couldn't find a replacement wire with 5 attachments and I tried reaching out to the seller but no joy. I decided to use the trays without the light as i couldnt go through thd hasdle of returning it. When i first plsnted seeds I used my single android charger to use the lights for 20mins oer But changing the wire every 20 mins becsme tedious so I eventually gave up. The seeds did grow but obviously I paid more for the light function so was disappointed.

Five clear plastic, three part, grow trays. Each of the five trays has 12 holes for seeds/seedling. The bottom is the water catchment tray, and the high top is to give extra room for plants to grow before moving to pots or garden. The top of the combined three units has a dial for air flow and UV light attachment to advance plant growth. Very easy to assemble. They are just the size to fit the square planter and compost / organic growth medium and fit in the unit. Each unit has a MicroUSB connector into the UV light unit. USBa to the UV lights included. Durable to last many seasons. The thickness of the plastic is enough to allow natural light through as well as to retain moisture. I have these lined up on my windowsill with chilli seeds growing. When each reaches transfer height, it is moved to a larger pot and new are put in the growth trays. Very impressed by the tray set.
