Review: Solid bike for the price of the bike - This is my first decent road bike. I have had a hybrid bike for the past 12 years and have probably logged several thousand miles on it. I decided that I am into riding enough as a hobby that I deserved an upgrade, and I couldn't be happier with this bike. I am 6'5, 250lbs, and ordered an XL bike which is labeled as 60cm. I do feel that the bike is slightly small, but welcome to my world. The fit of a road bike is different than the hybrid or mountain bike, so this is just going to take some getting used to. The bike is lightweight, and the parts are top brand quality. I expect that this bike will last me several more years until I am ready to compete in the tour de rail-trail. The reason I would give this item greater than 5 stars if possible is because of the customer service at Giant Nerd. My bike came with a defective rear derailleur shifter that my local bike shop stated they could not fix. I called Giant nerd and spoke to Chris. Without any questions, accusations, or resistance, he immediately located another Shimano Tiagra rear shifter and sent it to me that day, and apologized for my inconvenience. Not only that, but they are going to refund me whatever the cost of fixing the bike is. I did not even have to ask, that is how great the customer service at Giant nerd is. Now to top this all off, I ordered the bike on a Wednesday, and it was delivered 3 days later even though desertcart said that it would take 10 days. I plan to exclusively use Giant nerd as my supplier for any future bike or parts that I may need. Thank you again guys and gals
Review: Excellent bike for the money. - This Tomasso is a well balanced bike that handles great! I’m 6’3” 220 lbs. I purchased the XL bike. This bike is light weight, shifts flawlessly, and the saddle is comfortable, but, it will take some getting use to. I’ve been riding an old Schwinn for a while, and the difference when compared to the new Tomasso is remarkable. I have read some reviews about the poor quality of the tires and inner tubes, however, I’m keeping everything stock. The bike performs very well. I had a professional bike store do all the assemblies and check everything out for me. To me, it was worth the small price to have a pro put it together. I can personally recommend the Tomasso Monza to anyone who wants to do some serious riding with a bike that performs excellent in all areas. Even the guys riding the high dollar bikes were impressed with this Tomasso. Great bike ! 🚴

**Q: Does this come as the "ready to Ride" build as described on the tomasso website or is there more assebly required than that?**
A: Mine arrived with minor assembly still required. Front wheel, seat, pedals, and handlebar had to be installed. My understanding for this is that this is necessary for packaging purposes. Not sure if this is technically classified as "ready to ride" version or not. Hope this helps.

**Q: Any idea when the large bikes will be in stock. i'm 6'1" with 33" inseam and the xl seems to large but medium to small?**
A: More important is your reach length compared to a bike effective reach. You can adjust an inch of height with the seatpost. You will want to time that in as well as the seat angle anyway. Are your torso / arms long, regular or short?

**Q: How long is the presta valve on the tube 48mm or 60mm ?**
A: The valves on the stock tubes are 60mm

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great entry-level road bike

I purchased the Tommaso Monza and was not paid to write this review. First off let me state that there is a tremendous value for what you are getting with the Monza if you are just starting to dip your feet into the complex world of road bicycles. The foundation for any bike is the frame and in this case it's made of 6061 aluminum with a carbon fork; it does a good job of absorbing most road imperfections such as bumps, small potholes, and light gravel but anything bigger you will definitely feel. The frame is pre-drilled with spots for 2 bottle cages and a bag rack in the rear. All brake and gear cabling is routed externally. I got the metallic blue color which is very captivating when you see it in person and I've received many compliments from my fellow riders. Moving on to the wheels, Tommaso provides their self branded Corsa TC-40 wheel set which are quite heavy but passable in my opinion. Where they really drop the ball are on the tubes and tires - within the first week of riding I got three flats while on fairly smooth tarmac and little to no debris. I chalk it up to the pretty terrible rubber compound and slim 23c size. They were promptly replaced with Continental GatorSkin 25c tires which greatly improved the comfort of my ride and eliminated any issues with flats. The value I mentioned before really comes in the form of the full Shimano Tiagra 4700 drivetrain (crank, cassette, front/rear derailer, STI shifters, brakes, and chain). Tommaso should be praised for figuring out how to integrate Tiagra at such a reasonable price point rather than going with the Claris groupset. Regarding performance, I've found that shifting has been smooth and consistent in all road conditions with the occasional stutter under heavy load. In my opinion if you are a novice to intermediate rider then Tiagra will suite you just fine, but advanced riders should look towards the105 or even Ultegra groupsets for improved performance. Lastly, unless you intend to race with this bike then I strongly recommend that you replace the saddle (seat) with one that has more cushion. There is virtually no padding with the one provided and I could barely get through a few minutes before I started feeling numbness in my anatomical areas. I understand their intention but I feel that they under delivered considering the main use of this bike for most users will be commuting or touring. Overall this is a really fun bike and I recommend it with the mentioned caveats. For frame of reference I am a 6'3" guy weighing 225lbs. In the last 5 months of riding the bike I've logged about 800 miles.
