I have very fine hair, and a LOT of it. I never had a problem with my hair until I moved and now I have well water. The well water was messing my hair up so bad I was debating just shaving my head lol. I did cut off almost a foot of hair last year because I was so tired of fighting it. At the time I didn't realize it was the well water causing the problem. I finally tried some shampoo, conditioner, and treatments for hard water and it made a huge difference in my hair. But the shampoos and treatments were absolutely wrecking my thin fragile strands. If I stopped using them I had so much nasty build up, but when I did use them I had so many tangles. I couldn't win for losing. The hard water conditioners seemed very thin and didn't really moisturize my hair very well. My hair would be matted before I even got done styling it. Just the hair rubbing on my shoulders and back was causing horrible tangles and matting halfway up my head within minutes. I couldn't run my hands through my hair at all and I was constantly having to brush out mats and tangles. It was ridiculous and frustrating. I hated wearing my hair down. I'd never dealt with anything like this in my entire life so I really had no clue what to do. I decided to try a really good conditioner and see what happened, so I ordered this. I've used it 3 times now and I could tell a substantial difference in my hair from the first use. My hair is probably softer than it's ever been. It literally feels like the highest quality silk imaginable. It's shiny and light, not weighed down or dull anymore. My fingers slide right through without tangles or mats. And it smells so good. I'm really sensitive to smells, and this conditioner does have a strong smell during application but it's perfect after rinsing and drying. I love having hair that smells fresh and clean. I wash my hair every other night and on day 2 it still feels and smells so fresh, clean, and light. It's still tangle and mat free and easily brushed. I am so glad I found this, it's exactly what I've been needing. Probably the only thing I dislike is that it comes in a jar. I wish it came in a squeeze tube, it's hard to get some out and screw the lid back on one handed. I don't really have much room in my shower to put it down it without water getting in the jar until I can get the lid back on. Other than that, this is 10/10 and has completely restored my hair back to its original texture and sheen. I think it's even improved it beyond what I thought possible.

It works really well in terms of making sure your hair becomes or stays healthy. It's also easy to rinse out despite being super thick. It's essentially like a super thick conditioner and it does leave my hair very soft and shiny. It's easy to brush through afterwards and any potential tangles just resolve on their own. One tub lasts a long time. I keep thinking I'm using a huge portion, yet I never seem to make a true dent in the tub. I will say that it has a very strong scent that I wasn't prepared for. I can only use it occasionally because it triggers my asthma.

I’ve got a dry hair type that needs heavy conditioning. I’ve found most hair masks in the past regardless of price point did not do anything for my hair. I tried this one out with hesitation because I previously did not have a stellar experience with the intensive repair conditioner. So I gave the bond strength mask a go. And I’m fairly surprised. I saw the results after only 3-4 uses. The texture of the product is thick, but not too thick. The mask glides through the hair quite nicely. I wouldn’t say it has a serum like texture. I would say it just feels like a regular cream deep conditioner. It’s not oily either. As soon as it hits your hair, you immediately notice that your tangle start to unravel at least that’s what happened to me. I leave mine in anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes with the shower water off and then I follow up with a regular conditioner. Just to “seal” everything in, but that’s not even necessary because this mask does the job. The smell is pretty good. I would say most people would like it. It’s not floral and not sweet. It just has a nice perfumey scent. My hair feels a lot smoother after I style it, and it stays sleeker for longer even up to 8 days. As far as the ingredients go. I know that apparently dove has patented the technology out in their damage repair lines so I can’t speak too much on that but for what it’s worth this mask those contain a lot of solid ingredients for conditioning the hair such as silicones and fatty alcohols. Don’t shy away from this mask just because of the hype. Obviously different things work for different people, but at the end of the day. It’s worth a shot because of how affordable it is. And how much success you’re probably going to have with it.

Honestly, this is the best hair mask I've ever tried. The price is super affordable for the results you get... it smells amazing, leaves my hair moisturized and silky, and you see results from the very first application. I highly recommend it.
