I have an old Fraser Golf Trolley. I bought it about 12 years ago and it has some heavy use, but still had the original battery. However, it was starting to give up the ghost by the time it got to about 16 holes with the old battery. Did a bit of looking around and this battery seemed to fit the bill. I expected it to come fully charged as I thought that was how they were stored. It arrived and I was intending to play gold the following day, but I needed to work out how to connect the battery to the old wiring (the crimped wire connections were corroded on the old battery and so I need to find some new ones. Sorted it out on the morning I was suppose to play golf in the afternoon, so I thought I had better check the charge. Put it on the charger and it showed it was charging. I was a bit worried it wouldn't charge in time and asked a question about it on here. One person said it took 8 hours and another 24 hours, so I almost gave up on playing that day. But after about 2-3 hours is showed fully charged. So I risked it and it made it all the way around without any problems. So overall it seems like a good replacement so far. I think it must come partially charged not fully drained. Hopefully it will last 12 years like the old one did! If it does it will probably out live me!!

Good for 18 holes (I am to old to go further)
Had it for a few months and 18 holes no problem, electrical connections on the battery I received not as shown in the photograph hence the four star.

The heaviest 12v I have ever known!!!
I bought this gel battery as a replacement for my motocaddy s1 lead battery replacement. I chose a gel battery as it is cheaper and I use them in my motorbike. This is a big lump and has no handle grips. It weighs a lot (feels like 10kg) and though my wife said send it back I have decided to keep it for society days as I can leave the trolley unattended assured that no one will run off with the battery!!!!!! But it will be replaced, soon, I suspect.
