My main purpose of buying Bacopa Monnieri was to carve out a healthy attractor basin topology in the CA3 region of my Hippocampus, via BDNF in the Dentate Gyrus.I've been using it since a few months. It works.Now after combining with another BDNF promoter - micellar curcumin, the improvements are profound.My REM dreams now have a continuity and improving in structural coherence. The dream vector seems to be navigating an improved Hippocampal topology.My learning and memory are showing noticeable improvements.Its effect as an adaptogen is also felt. The Pre-Frontal Cortex seems to be asserting good top-down reasoning control over the Amygdala. Thoughts are more reasoned rather than emotional.This is indeed a spiritual nootropic. - The package has both a manufacturing date and an expiration date printed on the back.- The capsules are a little on the large side and they do have a bit of an earthy smell to them.- Overall, I have a lot of respect for this brand because they clearly state the standardization of ingredients. For this supplement there is a minimum of 40%, which to my understanding means that the dosage is a minimum of 300mg of active bacosides. Most suggestions I see are for dosages of 300-600mg so this fits into the lower end.- While I appreciate the availability of this trial pack, I think it’s important to understand that a supplement like this needs to be taken consistently over several months in order to see any noticeable difference. The trial pack is useful to see if you experience any digestive issues from the product though.- It is also important to be aware that this supplement could potentially interact with antidepressants, sedatives, or thyroid medications.- Currently, this product is about $16 for 60 servings which is a very good price. I do see competitors from very reputable companies that are the same price, but have a higher standardization and dosage.- Overall, I think this is a quality product at a fair price. The smell of the capsules was a bit of a turn off for me; it made it hard for me to take. Again, the trial pack is really only helpful if you’re worried about digestive issues. You won’t see any improvements from just taking the 10 servings in this package.

I tried this Bacopa Monnieri as a trial pack to see if I felt any quick cognitive boost, which, realistically, I knew might be a long shot since these supplements often take a while to kick in. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I appreciate that they don't have a strong herbal smell. Unfortunately, this one gave me some classic Bacopa side effects—I had some noticeable stomach cramping and felt slightly nauseous a couple of times, mostly when I took it on an empty stomach. I can't definitively say I felt any major improvement in focus or memory during the short time I used it, so based on the mild side effects and the lack of immediate benefit, I’m definitely going to contemplate some more before buying a full-sized supply.
