Not perfect but better than expected
Although not perfect, it actually has a metallic look to it. Kind of a silver or dark aluminum. It's actually a shiny grey so it does best in lighter areas. I still have to experiment with different temps to see if I can get the prints smoother with the AIO silver filament (as you can tell from the picture), but it performs pretty well considering it's pla.

Great silver color, prints best at high temperatures
Very nice silver metallic color. Prints well at higher temperatures (220-225) on Monoprice Mini v2, and at slightly slower print speeds. Poorer print quality at lower temperatures and/or higher speeds. I typically print other filaments (and other AIO filaments) at 200-210. May have some translucency at 3 shells or less.

Great PLA, .5KG spool is a double-edged sword
Lets start by saying that this stuff is great. It prints like butter and I had no issues with stringing, clogging, etc. I needed some silver and I needed it quickly so this was a great option since I couldn't wait for my normal goto PLA to come in. I was really pleased with this product.I would assert however that it is not the best value for dollar as it is not really much better than other silver PLA that you can get for nearly half the price per KG since this comes on a half kg spool. All in all though, it was a good experience.

Updated: Not too shabby...
Updated Review:OK, I have almost burned through the entire spool. I'm finally getting good prints with it... I'm not sure what my hold up is... I get good prints at 210... but now I'm getting good prints with the nozzle even at 200. I got tripped up, i ithink because snapmaker made some firmware changes that took my S3D out of sync. I brought it to S3D's attention, and they gave me a new fff that is working much better. I also replaced the bed on my Snapmaker. Between these things, I'm now getting solid prints. I'm not convinced, however, that this stuff is any better than anything else out there... so while there is a claim of strict dimensional accuracy, it doesn't look any better than any other PLA I've printed in so far. The measurement of 1.82 (below) says it all. I will say it does have a nice finish -- pretty decent shine, actually for just plain PLA media. That shine, however, is a double-edged sword, as it can actually bring out the flaws in a print. For example, when printing on a raft, the face touching he raft looks very different than the sides or even the top. The slight under extrusion (which it seems you always get there) very much visibly different -- so if you are assembling parts, this can really get in the way.In sum: it is decent PLA, but overall, not worth the upcharge. I paid almost 2x as much as my cheaper Inland Premium PLA... and the inland prints look every bit as good...Original review:I purchased this filament because of its alleged high degree of dimensional accuracy... and I didn't have any PLA in this color.... I have tried numerous prints on this, and no matter what I do, I cannot get this dialed-in. My 3D printer is a Snapmaker -- which yields amazing prints on PLA that is half the cost of this stuff. I saw that people recommended increasing the temperature of the nozzle... I did that, and it did help quite a bit (I set it to 220), but the top and bottom layers still look awful... they don't complete. It seems like no matter what I do, this stuff under extrudes. When I put a caliper on the media, I was shocked to see 1.82mm -- this is a far cry from the claimed 1.75, especially given the claim of +/1 .02 dimensional accuracy (which we paid a premium for). The color is nice, I can get decent walls with the extrusion multiplier up around 1.7, and the nozzle temp at 220c... but the top and bottom looks like hell. I've probably burned through at least 1/3 of this spool... and still not a usable print. I will take another crack at this this weekend... but I'm not going to hold my breath....

Perfectly Silver, highly recommended!
I've had a lot of success with AIO Robotics filaments, and this one was no exception! Prints smooth, no "bird-nesting" in the spool, and the color is exactly the silver i was looking for. Like all AIO Robotics filaments I've used, I've had the best results when printing at 200* Celsius. Highly recommended!

Great Stuff!
I've now bought 3 reels of AIO filament and have had a chance to try 2 of them. I've been really pleased. On my Monoprice Select Plus 3D printer, this filament produces great results. I run it slightly hotter than recommended (235 C on the extruder and 65 C on the build surface). I've gotten good "stick" on the build surface and great detail on the print itself. AIO actually knows how to wind filament onto a reel - with a couple other brands I've encountered "sticking points" on the reel as the extruder drew the filament in. This hasn't happened with AIO. If my results so far are typical, I'll go with AIO exclusively.

Beautiful shimmer!
I love AIO filament. I only wish it came on full rolls and not halfs. This stuff prints beautifully. The silver sheen is eye catching too!I used it for the blade of my sons Master Sword from LoZ.

Quality Filament.
Amazing Stuff. Looks great! However, You will have to play around with your settings to get it to print right. On my machine it requires a higher extrude temperature than most filaments. No stars were deducted for that because testing prints and fiddling with settings is part of the game. AIO filament has been one of the best in my experience.

Not Good
Possibly the worst PLA I have ever used. Really stringy, did not like it at all. Prints fail with it all the time but other PLA prints them no problem

Farbe sehr schön ....Druck doch einige Probleme....
