Works Great!
It’s very sturdy.. easy to hold on to .. works great on potatoes and all other veggies.and never gets dull .. I had one just like it, I had gotten at a home show , probably 25 years ago .. it broke on me a few weeks ago … Glad i found another one just like it !

Poor quality control.
Been using this make/model for years. Just bought a new one which won't even break the skin of a butternut squash. Fortunately the old one still works despite being a bit worn. Suspect I'll have to buy a different brand locally where I can see the quality of the blade. The new one is useless and going in the trash.

it's not the old zena but victorinox. stainless steel. very good pealer but the Japanese pealer is much better

This is the real deal
Just like the other Swiss peeler I have. I ordered 3 others (a different brand) that were NOT the same, and not good. This one is great! Carbon Tool steel is awesome. Rinse and let dry, don't soap unless you plan to oil it after. I've used my last one for 10 years with no problems. This one is just as good. Just got tired of running upstairs to the kitchen when I need it to cut citrus peels in the bar for cocktails, so I needed an extra one.

Star Not a REX
This item is a Star peeler NOT a REX.I am very specific about peelers. I ordered 3 of what i thought were REX, but when they came they didn't have the smooth peel that I am accustomed to . I noticed they did not say REX on the peeler. I shopped again specifically for REX, and ordered this one. Unfortunately, the product that came is not in the same packaging shown in picture and it does not say REX on the peeler. There is a sticker on the back that says REX

Best Pealer Ever!
This is the absolute best vegetable pealer I've ever had. Thinly and quickly peels everything: potatos, apples, carrots, zucchini etc.Even my mom who has RA in her hands loved using it. Plus they are made from the recycled material.
