This book completely healed me & absolutely wrecked me at the same time.💕✨ The writing was so poetic, whimsical, & soul-touching. Allison weaves magic with words.❄️ The lore was impeccable. It honoured the Pixie Hollow we know & love while building on that world & deepening it beautifully.🌳 Allison’s vocabulary is incredible. I loved how many times I was looking up luscious new words.🍃 The fairy life details were utterly enchanting! From the delicious foods to the flowers that were crafted into striking fashions, every detail of life was designed for pixies & it was so magical.🧚🏻‍♀️ No spoilers, but the meaning behind the monsters & how they can be defeated made me weep with hope.🥹 The depth to this story & to these precious characters was marvelous. I feel so connected to Clarion—her insecurities as well as her strengths were poignant & deeply relatable.🤍 And lastly, the romance. Oh, the tender, precious, beauteous depth of it. I would never call this romance “sizzling” for it burned—bright & true as a falling star.💫 Clarion & Milori deserve every happiness & now I need to watch The Secret of the Wings to fill the gaping wound in my heart with its hope of happily ever after.🦋 This book was astounding. It was perfection. It not only met, but far exceeded my expectations & hopes. This story is fully welcome into the official canon & lore of the Pixie Hollow I hold so very, very dear.💕 So, in the words of Queen Clarion herself, “Born of laughter, clothed in cheer, happiness has brought you here. Welcome to Pixie Hollow!”✨

This book seriously brought be back to the Disney Fairies Franchise after growing up with it. I ordered this book on preorder for my birthday last year, and it took me until December of 2025 to finish reading since I'm just a slow reader. Extremely well written, extremely entertaining, and also heartbreaking. I did find myself tearing up by the end of it. I had to keep reminding myself this was a prequel and that everything turned out good thanks to the movies because this book really did break my heart. One of my top books of all time.

My daughter and I decided to start a a book club for us and read all kinds of stories. This was our March book and I was very excited to read and then I learned about the origin of this story. And the ending and even so, I am so glad I read it. I loved Clarion so much. I loved her resilience and her strength, even with her insecurities and doubts. With her coronation just around the corner, the last thing anyone expected was the nightmares that were coming. The current queen is training and helping Clarion come into her own, but should she follow what someone sets out for her or what her heart wants. I loved how Clarion and Milori worked together, even with so much stacked against them. Their journey was not easy and the ending broke my heart, but I loved their story and was so happy I read it. Bought this as a present for my sister. She loves tinkerbell and all of the tinkerbell movies. She loved the book. She expected the ending.

This is a Young Adult Fantasy Romance. I normally do not read Young Adult or Fantasy. I picked this book up because my teenage daughter really wanted me to read it. It took me a super long time for me to get into this book, but I am not sure if it is because this book is not my type of book. I found the pacing to be super slow moving for the first half of the book which did not help me to get into the book. I found the last half of the book to be good. The ending of the book is heart breaking. I also wanted to yell at Clarion to stand up for herself. My daughter who reads Young adult fantasy all the time loves this book so much, so if this is your jam then you should love this book.

I'm a huge fan of the Tinkerbell movies and was one of the fans that wanted Clarion and Milori's story after watching Secret of the Wings and HOLY PIXIE DUST this book delivered. The story was spectacular with beautiful characters and amazing expansion of the Pixie Hollow world. I always loved Clarion and wanted to know more about the Queen of Pixie Hollow. Now I feel like I can understand her and have a huge respect for her and her commitment to the fairies of her kingdom. If you know the film you know at least a part of how things end and I was SOBBING at the end of this book. The way everything was tied into the story we know was amazing. My love for Pixie Hollow and the fairies there has just grown after reading this. Be prepared to watch the movie following the book so you can see thier happy ending in the end. You don't need to have seen any movie to enjoy this book.

I was so excited to read this book. I've always loved Tinkerbell movies and Secret of the Wings is one of my favorites. The book is written just like the films, which I enjoyed for the nostalgia factor. The romance is sweet and tugs at the heart. I thought the story could have been a bit longer with more information on the villains, but the resolution worked out nicely. I took a star for the ending, it just didn't feel satisfying.

In the terms of the actual book itself, its good but im giving it extra points for the nostalgic factor,If you like tinker bell, its the origin story for the queen fairy and tinker bell.

when I was reading this book its was really important that i had some time in my day to just sit down and let my self just chill by reading wings of a star light. one thing I love most about reading is that can just leave this world and go to the book world that I'm reading allowing my self to get lost in that world.
