Chase Harper USA 160X Tail Trunk - Water-Resistant, Tear-Resistant, Industrial Grade Ballistic Nylon - Universal Fit with Bungee Mounting System

I had forgotten I bought this on Amazon. It has started to fade, but it took two years and a lot of summer riding to get it to that point. The zippers and the rest of the exterior have held up really well. The brackets rattle a bit at low speed on rough roads, but I wouldn't notice it if I weren't going slow. It has pockets in the right places and will let me put a bag of groceries on the back of my Ryker on my way home from work. I've owned a number of Chase Harper bags over the years and will continue to buy them.

What a great tail bag. Has great features and holds a lot of clothes. I bought the rain cover for an extra price. Wish the rain cover came with the bag. I really like that it is made in the USA.

Roomy and not too tall, well made,will hold a full-face helmet, water repellent, but wish it came with a rain cover. First order arrived in correctly labeled package but wrong product ( the non-expandable version). Contacted Amazon, correct replacement arrived in 18 hours... Love the bag, love the service!

Best value and quality for the price point. It sucures nicely with the built in bungee cords. Extra external nylon loops are perfect for zip tying for added secureness on my Triumph Tiger.

We love these bags! Perfect size, leaves enough room on the seat on our adventure bikes to sit comfortably, just the right number of pockets and I love that it is expandable. I also ordered the rain cover directly from Chase harper. Before the cover came, we were out in a huge 30 minute downpour. Everything stayed remarkably dry except for the items in the zip compartment inside the flap which were just a tad damp. I would recommend getting the cover (I think it was $30 or $35) to keep things dry but perhaps even more importantly, to keep the dust off and the bag clean and out of the sun. With the setup in the photo on two bikes, we have no problem carrying everything we need for three days of hammock camping off the beaten track. Why spend hundreds??

I just love how well it fits and how good it looks on my adventure touring motorcycle. I used the bungee mounting cords and it worked great with my 2022 Africa Twin AS DCT. Perfect size for the width and size. And it will still allow me to remove the rear pillion seat based on how I connected it. Time will tell on durability, but everything so far looks like good quality for the price. Not sure how water proof this bag is yet....Chase Harper, if you appreciate this review please send me a water proof cover!!!
