I bought this dryer because it was listed as some of the lowest noise decibel levels during use. I absolutely love it and use it almost everyday. The cool and heat modes are great and the attachments help dry quickly and with less frizz than my old noisy dryer. The price was reasonable too. Would very much recommend this if you’re looking for a quiet and quality alternative to traditional hair dryers.

I’m giving this hair dryer five stars just for the lightweight asset of it alone. I have wrist and arm problems and it was pure torture blow drying my hair with my old dryer. It was so heavy and cumbersome. This hairdryer is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It also does cut down on the amount of frizz. Love this dryer. Added bonus, it will fit in my carry on!

Yasss! I have thick long brown hair & live in Phoenix where its arid & evaporative effect is pretty strong. Over the years, i've hated having to buy loud bulky dryers that only seemed to have heat settings, but without enough wind generated to give the most ideal combo. My hair is so thick, even in the summertime, when it's well over 110°F, one of the few ways I could accelerate my hairdrying time was to blow dry my hair outside in the heat. Kind of a sucky situation but it helped. I also travel a lot and taking my own personal blow dryer is such a hassle and would take so much space up in the suitcase, but it's seemed to be the next best choice, then to use the flimsy hair dryers in the hotels. I tried this dryer just for the heck of it and it quickly became my favorite because it's small and light ( definitely, more travel friendly than other more conventional type dryers), very strong robust wind power and surprisingly, not as loud as one would expect for the full on gust that comes out of the nozzle, sound is pretty modest and actually quieter than my old blow dryer, and the three heat settings make it easy to use these to style your hair. I haven't used the diffuser or the nozzle. I would say the frizz is reduced.However, it's reduced even more.If you use a nice hair, primer or hair oil before styling. This blow dryer has helped cut my dry time down to less than five minutes, and then I can get on to setting my hair and rollers and be on my way. This was a good value for the money, and I just wish there were more colors to choose from. I would definitely buy this again.

I like it - it’s light weight (big plus) but the button to change the setting (cool, warm, hot) is in a spot that I keep hitting it and accidentally changing the setting. And if I hold the handle lower it hits the vent at the bottom, which makes it awkward too. Wish it was a switch Also wish there was a “cool” button for when I just want a few blasts of cool. Everytime I dry my hair I accidentally change heat settings at least 1.

I love this blow dryer. I use it as a diffuser on my curly hair, and it works great. I love the magnetic diffuser included with it. My college kid stole it, so I had to get a second one. Great value for the money.

This hair dryer didn’t even last ten months. It no longer heats but just blows air. I guess the name Dyson isn’t worth the price. I have a dead Dyson vacuum too.

I love the hair dryer, compact in size but mighty. It gets the job done fast. It never eats my hair. I especially love the circulating heat settings. My daughter loves it for the less noise. What I don’t love… the magnetic attachments will not stay. It’s so frustrating- I use a diffuser often.
