These are the funniest books! I used to read them when I was little, then i bought them for my kids and again for my nephew. So excited to share them with a new generation!

Great set of books. My grandson loves them! I love the messages in all of them.

I read these books to my children, the youngest is now 26, so when the grandkids came I knew they would love them. You can't get them here in the USA, but I was able to get them from the UK through Amazon. They are full of little things 'English ' that amuse everyone here. They are wonderful stories of an English elephant family, with a very tired, loving mummy and daddy. The company who sent them were great. They came on time and in perfect condition. On receiving them I immediatly ordered more! Definitely 5 stars

These are the best books for both kids and adults. I give Five Minutes of Peace to ever new mom I know. They are so relatable, great pictures, and perfect stories. Having them all in one set was perfect. The Large family should become part of your family too.

These books are great to read as a parent because I can so relate. The illustrations are fantastic.

5 Minutes Peace is the best (quite like the tiny version). Parents and children will be able to identify with the Large family. Nice slipcase for the 5 books.

Sent as a gift set for our granddaughter. Absolutely love these story books. Brightly coloured pages and covers. Sit nicely on bookshelf and suitable reading for all ages. Five minutes peace is one of my all time favourite story books, as fond memories reading this story many times to my own children over 25 years ago! Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with my order. I purchased this book boxset as a gift for my son. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until I had already placed the order that another reviewer had already mentioned that this item doesn’t come in a box, as advertised. The five books are wrapped in a simple plastic layer, which obviously can’t be reused. The price is still very good for the five large family books, hence the two stars.

Auf deutsch fand ich die Bücher als Kind toll. Diese englische Version ist leider nicht so schön - 5 dünne, schwabbelige Hefte, die schon mit Eselsohren geliefert wurden. Man hat gar kein richtiges Buch in der Hand, für kleine Kinder dadurch ungeeignet. Die Zeichnungen sind zusätzlich nicht so liebevoll, wie in meiner gebundenen Version von früher. Schade.

I wanted to buy some books as a first birthday gift and following discussions with my own children (now in their mid teens) it was agreed that these were a fab addition to their childhood! Brilliant books...not too long...great pictures....and most of all not just funny to kids they have great themes that will make adults reading them laugh too!
