Eaton BRN220GF 20 Amplifier GF 2P Breaker

This GFCI breaker is great. Arrived in good condition. Worked properly right out of the box. Just installed it today. Will update if it doesn't hold up over time. Some things to note: - It's quite a bit longer than standard breakers (which is normal with GFCI). Still clips in the same way. Just extends further than the rest, which may require pushing or bending existing wires slightly to make some room for it. - The neutral wire in my panel was too short to reach all the way up to the standard breaker I was replacing so I had to decide whether to move it down to the bottom of the panel or splice/extend the neutral wire so it was long enough to reach the original location.

First one received was faulty. I returned and ordered again, the second one works perfectly and has been faultless since installing

Eaton quality, really don't need to say more. Installed perfectly in my Eaton panel, and now I have GFCI protection for an underground wire run. Great price from Amazon, and free delivery.

I learned that the1990's vintage Challenger power panel in my home had Cutler-Hammer GFCI breakers installed that are a fire hazard after one failed. My research confirmed that Cutler-Hammer acquired Challenger and Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer. Also, Eaton is the appropriate legally correct OEM manufacturer for insurance purposes (important). I researched performance ratings on the Eaton GFCI breakers and was pleasantly surprised. The new Eaton GFCI breakers are now smart devices and are self diagnosing. One of the articles also stated that Eaton warranty's their smart breakers for life so if they fail simply contact Eaton to get a free replacement (this guarantee is not printed on the accompanying documentation, but it is positive). Installation for electrical power trained professionals is very straight forward and on start-up the breaker runs its own diagnostic test to prove it is operating correctly. In the event there is an issue, the breaker will diagnose it for you. Make sure you keep the documentation that has the codes that provide the specific problem causing the issue. You can't get better than that. That being said - don't just install an Eaton product until it is confirmed that it is the legally and technically compliant with the specific panel it is being installed in.

Poor quality. Broken on arrival. Not packed well by seller either.

Couldn’t find one of these at local home centers; had to order. Price right, got it days sooner through Amazon. Installed in minutes; doing great so far

Died after a month poor breaker still trips with no load.
