Great option for my senior dog with a chicken allergy
My senior dog, Julieta, is allergic to chicken (skin allergy), and I have tried other joint supplements containing UC-II that unfortunately triggered her allergies. This is the first one we’ve tried that contains UC-II and has caused absolutely no allergic reaction. For context at the beginning of the year she got sick and lost a lot of weight and muscle mass, thats why i kept trying new options. I started giving her Fera Collagen Plus about three weeks ago, along with a consistent rehabilitation and exercise routine, and we have already noticed a significant improvement in her muscle mass. At her most recent therapy session, her vet was impressed by the difference. The bony area around her hip used to be very prominent because of the muscle she had lost, and now it is noticeably better covered. I really believe this product it’s helping her.

Awesome product, awesome results.
At a younger age, our dog's sleek black coat almost glowed, especially in the sun. As she aged, her coat became more dandruffy and dull. I assumed changes in formulas to the supplements or foods she was on were to blame, so we swapped brands and played with various oils and potions to help with coat quality without much change - still dull. She was in great health otherwise. Just didn't have the same stunning coat she used to have. At our most recent vet, it was suggested that maybe we try collagen for our dog. Not for her coat, but to support a progressive mild tendon issue my dog has been diagnosed with. I did a lot of research and decided on Fera brand 5 Type Collagen, mostly because it was one of the most comprehensive brands to also contain named UC-II collagen, which does have studies done and has been shown to be effective at it's job. It's overall somewhat spendy for what you get, especially for the amount a large breed dog needs. But with named UC-II in it, I was willing to pay a bit more for something with research to it. Our large breed dog has been on it for over a month now. She loves the taste when mixed in with her wet food. That said, she'd not a picky dog and would've probably eaten it just straight out of the bag. She's had no digestive issues while on it, either. More astounding though is we are back to a soft, shiny, dander-free coat that we had years ago. Shedding has dropped as well. I can't tell you how effective it is for mobility, as our dog is currently more in the prevention phase than treating-a-problem phase. But if it's working for her joints as well as it's working for her coat, I am happy to keep her on it! Great product!

Outstanding Product!
In 2024 The Modern Vet prescribed the newly FDA approved (5/2023) monthly injection Librala to my 5 years old Boston Terrier. Soon after reading the adverse events of that arthritis drug. I immediately cancelled the follow-up treatments and started to give her Fera's collagen 1/2 TSP per day added to her food. This collagen showed OUTSTANDING results. Within days she stopped limping, went on playing all day with my other 6 month old BT and hasn't stopped since.

I dissolve it in a little bit of hot water before plating up his food
I've been using this for our 15 yr old mixed breed dog and 19-year-old cat. I haven't noticed any changes with the cat but I have definitely seen our 15 year old dog seem much more spry and less achy overall. Not sure why there's a difference between the two animals but grateful to see that it's helping the one at least. I'll continue to use it as it doesn't seem to bother him and he is kind of picky and his old age. I dissolve it in a little bit of hot water before plating his food and mixing it in.

Great supplement for my large breed senior dog
Great product for the senior dog. While I wished I had it to give him when he was younger, it has helped him in his senior yrs. He has been on it for over a year now and I think it helped more than the glucosamine type products that he had a few yrs back. Those didn't seem to help at all.

Good product
Good product. Cat doesn’t mind it mixed in her wet food. Cat is 10 years old and I noticed she wasn’t jumping up into her favourite places anymore. Seems to help with her hip pain and her coat is so nice now. Sleek and shiny. No more dandruff. Give her 1/4 teaspoon a day in her wet food for a 10 lb cat. 1/2 tsp was too much and made her sick

Fera meets the requirements for collagen supplementation
Collagen supplementation is known to decrease joint discomfort in both humans and animals. My research pointed me to which forms of collagen were required for dogs and Fera Collagen was a perfect match. Our 13 yr old large breed dog has been on Librela shots since June 2025. We began adding Fera collagen to her daily routine a couple months later and are pleased to say that she is still holding her own even though osteoarthritis is typically progressive. I suspect that this supplementation is contributing to her well-being over and above just the Librela and Cosequin.

It works. No more black gunk.
Our golden retriever use to get black gunk in his ears and they had to be cleaned at least every 2-3 days. Since using this product he no longer gets the black gunk and we don’t have to clean his ears as often. It’s hard to know how much to give as there is no recommendation on the packaging however we give him 1 teaspoon with breakfast and one with supper and that worked. Will continue to buy and recommend this product.

It works for allergies and excessive itching!
Charlie has been suffering with allergies scratching, reverse sneezing and he’s been so miserable. Absolutely heartbreaking. I started him on Fera Pets collagen powder 8 days ago and itching is 90% gone. Thank you so much for this product! I’ve struggled for so long with this issue refusing to use harmful prescription drugs and I’m hoping that these results continue. I’m absolutely amazed.
