Nürburgring Nordschleife - An Enthusiast's Bend Guide: Volume 2

Overpriced Google pictures
Not impressed with this. It's just 60 pages from Google Earth, zoomed in on a few corners. There's hardly any on track images, and also massively overpriced, I assumed it was hard back due to the price!

Disappointing
I've only been going on 'Ring courses for a few years but already find this 'enthusiasts' guide very disappointing. The 'imaginary' lap data that fills half the book seems over stated in some places while way under in others and together with some of the lines shown, make you start to doubt the author knows the place. A feable attempt to name a bend after his son just adds to the irratation. The altitude data is interesting but is not always where you want it and some stretches of track are missing. If you don't know much about the place it's probably great, but if you look at the main enthusists web-site and use google maps you'll get most of what's useful here for free. Entries about some lesser known bend names save the day for the true enthusiast, so it's not a complete waste of money.

Amazing book!!
When I was at the Nurburgring I was looking for a book like this, but there was nothing available in English that was very comprehensive. This book is perfect for all Ring Addicts and for those of you who have The Green Hell on their wish list. Better than a playstation for learning the circuit!
