Uses a filler, magnesium stearate, Magnesium stearate is a white, water-insoluble powder that is made up of stearic acid and magnesium. It is used as a release agent and a lubricant in the production of foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. It also works as an emulsifier, binder, and thickening, anticaking, lubricant, release and antifoaming agent. Used as a “flow agent,” it helps speed up the manufacturing process because it prevents ingredients from sticking to the mechanical equipment. If you ingest too much, it can have a laxative effect. Their website says each ingredients undergoes rigorous testing and quality control, but does not say if testing is 3rd-party. I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many shady ones. The nutripotentia site is functional but there is no phone or other direct contact information, just fields on a Contact page. The address on the bottle is The UPS Store. The trademark owner is Health Aide Biotech, LLC. The healthaidebiotech site is functional but much of the template is not filled out, it is written in first person, and seems to focus mainly on one mushroom product. I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I also don't use a supplement where both the company and product are not verifiable, including their claims. The healthaidebiotech has a phone number, but when I call there is just silence and then it disconnects. Normally without more transparency, and at this price, I would avoid this and seek the ingredients from another source... but I feel like moving forward with this one for some reason.
