I got this watch after I found my older Casio watch and bought it back from the dead from sitting in a drawer for 10 plus years. The readability of these watches are amazing! The newer watch will be my everyday watch and the older one will be my beater watch for when I’m working outside or swimming. These types of watches are great for your first watch or just an everyday watch if like me want to go away from the smart watches. The only negative thing that I don’t like about this model is that the backlight is less to be desired. But that is on me for not doing enough research on this model. But all in all, I will definitely wear this watch and I’m pretty sure I’ll buy another one that has better backlighting in the future!

Looks great, super sturdy, 10 year battery life, so easy to read and fit and feel on it is amazing with useful features like alarm and stopwatch. How can you hate this retro Casio.

First: What Amazon calls "white" is actually the silver model. Do not order a "white" one expecting a white case. To the review: This watch is good. My usual hesitation with digital watches is that they are extremely overcomplicated, with alarms I do not know how to shut off (or set), etc. G shocks, Suuntos, etc, are all good watches if you need all their features. However, I do not. I expect most people do not. Most people need the time and date, and the Casio does this, and it does this well. I also like 24 hour time, and this is only possible on digital watches, unless you track down a Soviet submariner watch, which I don't want to do. This is the Glock of digital watches. Like a Glock shoots every time, and nothing else, the F-91W tells the time, date, and not much else. It has an alarm and a stopwatch if you are into that. They are unobtrusive features if you do not go in for them. The buttons do not get accidentally pressed, the housing is very low profile. I have only had this for a couple of days, so we will see on durability, but anecdotally these can take a lot of abuse. This would also be a good first watch for kids or for a elderly person who just wants a thing that can tell time. The LED light is a touch dim. According to how good your vision is, you might not be able to see the minutes and seconds, but you will probably be able to see the hour.

I love love LOVE Casio watches. I've been using them for well over a decade. I'm someone who prioritizes function over form always, and this clearly tells you the time, day, and date at a glance. They're also almost indestructible. I love the slick color contrast of the silver against the black straps too. All you need to replace is the battery (which lasts 7 years) and the straps, and this cheap watch will last you a lifetime.

This watch is amazing, Casio delivers amazing solid, reliable quality with this watch and I’ve used it in many different cases and situations. My only gripe is that the bands will rip over time especially when you remove and put on the watch a lot. The light doesn’t illuminate the entire face of the watch but it gives you enough light to tell the time. It looks great and sleek and is a great size and fit for my wrist. I love the color I got but please if anyone reads this consider changing the bands or having nylon bands as a backup because these resin bands will break eventually. Also if you do change the bands please be mindful of how the pins enter and exit the slots and keep the original pins when changing the bands

It's definitely on the smaller side which I like. I'm a woman, so it proportionally fits my wrist perfectly — not too big, not too small and dainty. I would say this watch definitely falls in the unisex category. It was super easy to program and it's easy to use, I also like that it's water resistant because I definitely might have accidentally spilled water on it with no problems afterwards. The profile of the watch is a bit slim which adds a bit of minimalist sophistication to it, not chunky or heavy at all which I feel like is often overkill with affordable watches like these. For whatever reason, manufacturers love to add on all sorts of useless designs and features to watches. Not this one. Lastly, I didn't care for this at first but now I really like it — the fact that it shows you the day and date, has been a nice little perk too. Overall a simple, affordable, quality watch. There's nothing to add and nothing to take away. Sometimes that's all you really need.
