Happy with it
Very happy with this Camera and the switch to mirrorless! As a professional photographer shifting my narrative and norms, this is a good investment and easy to handle.

Partially stacked sensor has its drawbacks
Coming from a ZF i was left feeling the image quality was a step down, especially at higher iso. I now realise this was the tradeoff for the partially stacked sensor, for me it left me wanting more in regards to image quality. The evf was more detailed than the ZF and a decent step up, although compared to my S1ii and SL3-S it is noticeably less sharp despite the same resolution and worse colour fidelity. I also found that with heavier lenses it wasn't really an improvement over the ZF plus grip. If you are debating this and the Z8 I would say it's definitely worth the extra money.

A powerhouse combo - The perfect jump into the Z system!
I’ve been using the Nikon Z6III with the 24-70mm f/4 S kit for a while now, and I’m honestly blown away by the performance. The ergonomics of the body are spot on; it feels incredibly solid and comfortable in the hand, and the build quality is exactly what you’d expect from a high-end Nikon. Regarding the lens, don’t let the "kit lens" label fool you. Since it’s part of the S-Line, the 24-70mm f/4 is remarkably sharp across the entire frame. The autofocus is nearly silent and lightning-fast, which makes it a joy to use for both stills and video. It really feels like professional-grade glass that can handle almost any situation. Overall, this is a versatile, high-performance setup that delivers stunning results right out of the box. If you’re looking for a reliable kit that doesn't compromise on image quality, this is definitely worth the investment. Highly recommended!
