Small toothed belt is the most likley to fail if you over do it. the belt number is: HTD 126-3M-18 **Q: Can I leave it outside unprotected during the winter?** A: Since this unit has an electrical motor, I would not recommend exposing motor to the elements for long periods. The unit takes up less room than a hoover vacuum and I keep mine stowed in the back corner of my unheated garage year round. Note, any snow removal devices should be at ambient outside temperatures prior to use or snow will freeze to the surfaces. If covered unheated storage is not an option, I would cover loosely with a modified plastic tote to protect motor from dirt & moisture, while allowing unit to dry after use.
