First off let me start this review out by saying that I have noticed a lot of post on other forums such as Reddit that claim this bike on Amazon is a scam because of being such a bargain price. I placed an order with Amazon for this bike for 219. 'With tax and shipping the total price came out 442,79. I also bought a different e-bike from Amazon just a few days before ordering the Funhang. Between the two bikes, the Funhang arrived with the better packaging. The Funhang was also the easier bike to assemble. It only took 5 days for the bike to arrive after ordering. After receiving the bike, and opening the box. It took between 30 and 45 minutes for me to assemble the bike. I charged the battery and inflated the tires to 55 psi. Took a couple of hours to charge the battery. I took the bike out for a test ride. This bike is definately worth 442.79. And is definitely not a scam. I am 6'2" and 250 pounds. This bike will reach 21 miles per hour with me on it. This bike will get a person up a hill with no issues. I've seen a several people crap on this bike (via social media post). I will tell you do not listen to the critics, they do not know what they are talking about. I chose not to install the fenders, as I think the bike looks better without them. This bike is one of the lighter weight bikes I have had the pleasure to ride. It has plenty of acceleration. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I set the front suspension to the open position. No it's not the fastest e-bike you can get. Yes it's only a 500 watts. But don't let the specifications fool you. This bike is plenty powerful enough for most people. Besides that in my opinion I feel like anything over 25 miles per hour on a bike is a little too on the dangerous side anyway. I am very satisfied with my purchase. In fact I would not hesitate to buy another one. The other bike I own is 750 watts with a top speed of 28 mile per hour. But it's a heavier bike and harder to tote up and down a narrow stairwell. Between the two bikes I much prefer the Funhang for its total weight and comfortable ride. I don't need to do 28 miles per hour on a bike in my town with all of the traffic we have here. I feel much safer on the Funhang and like the looks a of it because it looks like a regular bike with a battery mouted on the down tube. So if you happen to read a bad review of this bike saying it's a scam or it's a crappy bike. More than likely they didn't purchase the bike and have no idea what they speak of. They are just basing their opinions off of the specifications of the bike and the fact that it's so cheap or sold on Amazon. Please don't let any of these post's discourage you from purchasing this very affordable performing e-bike.

This is a solid e-bike for the price. I purchased the white one and it looks great. Assembly isn’t bad and the bike is well packaged. The power of the bike is solid and the options on how to use the motor are satisfying. The adjustable handlebars is a nice feature. You will need to air the tires. I bought a digital pump on Amazon for less than $30. Only downside I have found is finding a trunk mounted bike rack that can support two e-bikes. I want to carry two e-bikes, but the weight of 50lbs put this bike at overweight as most trunk mounts have a 35lb weight limit. There are hitch mounted racks that support up to 100lbs but I don’t have one or desire to install one on my sedan. First world problems, I know.

I've never owned an ebike before, so not sure exactly what I was expecting with the pedal assists feature.I bought this bike in the hopes of getting me back into shape, and in the hopes that it would get my biking muscles and lungs back to where I can conquer the surrounding hills all around my home and area.Well, I am very impressed with this bike and it's pedal assists features. It truly helps the rider traverse long and steep hills with a significantly less effort. So, the rider still gets a good workout, without all the pain and agony of an all human powered Hill climb.This bike came very well packed and in a very robust box. The bike is over 50lb, so lifting it out the top of the box may not be doable for many people to do it alone. It comes mostly assembled, but what's left to assemble may be a bit challenging for those not mechanically inclined. There's always the option of paying a bike shop to do this for you, which is probably ideal for the sake of safety in a properly assembled bicycle.I have a lot of experience working on bicycles, but by the time I was done assembling and fine tuning everything to my preference, it still took well over an hour from start to finish.The battery was still nearly fully charged,out of the box. I did a quick test run and everything worked perfectly!I've now had the bike for a couple of weeks, and I could already tell that my body is getting stronger at cycling, again. Less pain and soreness and I'm getting more and more comfortable with the bike's handling and my own road cycling mentality.For the overall quality of this product, the total cost of just over $400 is truly impressive, and an absolute bargain!

When building the bike build the handles part before the front wheel it’ll make it much easier to. The bike is just how it looks online and it is fun and smooth to ride. The assembly wasn’t too much work. But you need to pump the tires after you get it. Their is not much noise it’s is really quite when riding and it goes pretty fast. Also very easy to charge the battery. Just take the battery out of the bike and you can take it anywhere. The bike itself is very good. I love it

This is the best purchase money can buy. Cheapest e bike out here that does its job. To and from work without any issues. I had the scooter, and this is a big upgrade. Battery is great especially for no pedaling. Easy to ride, size is perfect while I'm 6ft. Looks fantastic. Must have.

This bike is awesome! I've put 80+ plus miles on it so far and it's everything I was hoping for. Has plenty of power and battery life is great. Would highly recommend! It's looks sleek, size is great with the 26 inch tires. Great performance and super fun to ride. Noise sounds like an electric motor should. All around great bike!

Great value for the money! Easy to assemble with tools provided or what’s in your toolbox. I really like the PAS function, digital speedometer/ speed selector. I can’t stress enough that a helmet is a must because it really does boogey in 3-5 range (13mph to 21mph).
