Push Bar Panic Exit Device, Panic Bars for exit Doors (UL Listed) with Exterior Lever

Very easy to install if you are mechanically inclined at all.

Great easy way to replace an existing door knob setup with a panic bar.

Parts of the panic bar were improperly made some pieces like end caps didn’t fit without customizing. It looks like it might work for awhile. That’s China for you!

cheap but looks like it will stand up to the job …. I hope …. installed in a fire dept. well used door …. will find out.

Ordered part, then was injured at work for 4 weeks. Did not fit. Could not return part after 5 weeks. If 4 weeks is the standard return window policy, I will have to sell it on Ebay to recoup loss.

Quality is good, the spring back feeling of the handle nice as any other high price panic bar. I installed three and all three needed four longer screws for the plate that is attached to the lock lever itself. You can install it without the plate but if the door is used a lot you'll need it, else you will need to tie the two long screws often. I purchased 3/8" long screws to have the plate in place. The lock can be rekeyed with schlage C10 model

Difficult to install, due to poorly written directions. Lever handle had to be reworked due to studs being too long, had to cut and retap. Once installed,works satisfactorily.

Didn't last a week.
