I'm sorry but that is a difficult question to answer. It will depend on how much waste you have. How thick the chrome is plated onto the surface.

Will this remove gold plate from stainless steel?

No it will not. The gold will need to be polished off. Mothers Mag and aluminum polish is a great product to use for this.

Will it strip nickel of metal?
