Bought this for my husband as he thinks he’s accident proof and he’d mess up the patio if he fell off a ladder onto it. Gives confidence that the ladder won’t slip. Thick rubber and big enough for any household ladder.

If you use a ladder then you have to have one of these. Im a painter and decorator and after coming off a ladder it was a wake up call so now i don't go up a ladder without my rubber mat.

This product smells so strongly (like creosote) that I've had to hide it away from my living area (I wanted to use it for the bottom of a loft ladder) in the hope that the pong will disperse. No sign of that happening yet, sadly. I'm sure it works fine if you're keeping it outside / in a shed but for inside domestic use, the smell is over-powering.

I bought this after my husband toppled off a short ladder and flattened the Christmas tree. He did cut his head open too!

Look good on my step ladders. I have got some spares as well.
