It depends on what one wants from a hat. I look for all-natural fibers (cotton, linen, etc.) that will breathe and stay comfortable. A hat that you forget you're wearing. Originally, I thought it arrived damaged (a large rip along one of the seams). If I had liked the hat, I would have considered (possibly) keeping and mending it. But I don't like it. Turns out, this large open area is a "ponytail hole"?! Weird spot for it. The hole doesn't align with a ponytail on anyone's head. The crown of the hat is small (and I have a small head). There is no need for the adjustable drawstring because it's already tiny... it would just make it even smaller (even for a child). The listing noted it is unisex, but anyone with a medium to large head circumference would find that it is JUST TOO SMALL. The listing also mentioned how breathable it is, and it just is not. It's nylon. Poorly constructed and made of subpar materials. Large brim. Small crown. Weird hole. Pass.

Love these hats at the beach! Well made! Not flimsy! Excellent tie that does not loosen! Great coverage from the sun and a good fit! I like the ponytail slit! You can wear in different styles! Good value for the quality!

I absolutely loved this hat on vacation. You can pull your hair up into a ponytail or a bun because there’s an opening in the back of the hat. I kept the sun off my face and eyes. It was super comfortable. It’s adjustable also, which is so nice because it can fit anyone’s head really. I even got it wet and it held up just fine. I highly recommend it. not only is it good for the beach or the pool, but I think it would be great for gardening too.
