My second one for a reason, does almost everything short of washing up
Build 0 cheap plastic panic to 10 built to last [9] Ease of use 0 manual needed every time to 10 dead simple [9] Versatility 0 one job only to 10 does nearly everything [10] Cooking results 0 disappointing mush to 10 genuinely impressive [9] Cleaning 0 quick wipe to 10 annoying when greasy [6] Value 0 overpriced gadget to 10 worth every penny [10] This is my second Ninja Foodi and after more than 4 years of using one, I can say it is one of the few kitchen appliances that genuinely earns its place. I use it for soups, stews, pressure cooking, slow cooking and air frying, and the pressure cook then crisp combo is brilliant when I want something quick but still nicely finished. It is easy to use, well made, and great for healthier meals too. Chicken breast comes out juicy with barely any effort, and it also works brilliantly for proper hearty dishes like hunter’s stew. It is heavy, a bit noisy, and some greasy areas can be awkward to clean, but overall this is a fantastic machine and excellent value.

MAX 15-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker 7.5 is a wonderful gift for the kitchen and timesaver!
It was considered a purchase, but boy, is it worth it. You're potentially saving on energy bills and your valuable time. So I just love this kitchen cooking appliance. Food is cooked in a fraction of the time and to perfection. Off the bat, I cooked a large turkey breast (using the probe and steam roast setting) and roasties, and the turkey was simply yummy, moist, and golden brown. My visiting relatives were grateful that dinner was served in roughly 45 minutes as opposed to having to wait way beyond an hour. You'll need some guidance as to timings, etc. in the beginning; however, you become more familiar with its use. Being a little creative will be helpful, as it only has one main cooking chamber, but it does come with a rack to cook your food on different levels. I hardly use my main oven; who would have thought, as I enjoy cooking? I am on a mission to make my bread now. A con or two: it's big, and the main pot (grey) could do with being more resilient. It's non-stick, but I have found that food sticks after a while. Purchasing replacements will be something you will need to do down the line if you use your Foodi a lot like I do, and they are often out of stock. I would suggest purchasing an additional pot when you can, so you'll have another cooking vessel so that no immediate washing is required. Keep an eye on the rubber ringn (inside the lid), as that will need to be replaced too. There is the option to purchase other accessories, but items are not always in stock. I think Ninja definitely needs to address the stock issue. Foodi's are great additions to the kitchen, especially if you have a family, and I think it also encourages you to try a few of your favourite meals that you more often would order when dining out, as you can achieve them with the right recipe in a fraction of the time and cost, e.g. lamb shanks are divine. This gets a definite thumbs up from me. Than you sister-in-law for the recommendation!

All in one
I have been using this cooker consistently for almost nine months, and I must say it has been a versatile addition to my kitchen. However, it does have some drawbacks. The most significant downside is its lack of efficient cleaning features, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, mastering all of its capabilities could take quite some time, and you might end up not using all of them. Another consideration is the noise level, which can be quite bothersome, especially in a studio apartment like mine. On the positive side, this cooker is incredibly versatile. It allows you to perform a wide range of cooking tasks, from air frying to steam cooking and even making yogurt. Every function performs excellently, which means I, as a student, don’t need any additional cooking gadgets. While it is a bit heavy, making it somewhat difficult to move, this weight also lends it a premium, robust feel. I've used it to prepare Iranian dishes, and the taste is noticeably better than when using traditional pots. The built-in timer is another great feature, eliminating the need to manually track cooking time. It’s especially helpful for adding seasonings at precise intervals. Overall, if you are someone who can maintain it well, this cooker is a great choice, and I highly recommend it. Otherwise, you might want to consider cookers with better cleaning functions.

The king of multi cookers
There is no getting away from the fact that this thing is huge and heavy. But with that you get a cavernous cooking pot that you can rustle up a whole family meal in, including whole chicken or large joints of meat. It's very well built, definitely premium in every sense, including the touch panel and display, obviously with a price to match of course. But it's packed with features and you can throw out your pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker and big frying pans, because this does it all. To get the best out it though you do need to spend some time to get acquainted with the instruction manual. Everything is actually explained really well, but there is a bit of a learning curve. It's also best not be too ambitious to start with. Some of the cooking requires multi stage operations that can at first be overwhelming. Trust me, mistakes will happen but you learn from them. For example I air fried some runner beans instead of steaming them after pressing the wrong buttons! More of a success however was the 1Kg beef joint that I steam roasted in just over an hour. It came out perfectly cooked and tender, aided by the inbuilt temperature probe. Very impressed. Cleaning is surprisingly easy and I do not find it noisy in operation. It will make you jump when it releases steam under pressure, be warned! My only gripe is the lack of UK centric recipes available for this model. The supplied recipe book has only a handful and everything online is geared for the US market. I can recommend the book by David Small as a good starting point though. So far I am impressed by this machine and it's money well spent so far.

Versatile but no replacement for an oven
I've had my 15-in-1 a while now and I'm still getting used to it & discovering new things to cook in it. I like it, really I do - it's versatile and a handy thing which can help reduce cooking time and therefore reduce energy consumption, which can only be a good thing. BUT ( yes, there is a "but" ) handy and versatile though this is, in my case it can never be a complete replacement for an oven. Here's why: There are times when - even cooking a family meal - the capacity of the Ninja is a problem. Okay so it will cook my joint and maybe faster too, but I can't cook my roasted veg, roast spuds AND Yorkies at the same time ( or in quick enough sucession). Before someone says "Yes you can" - well maybe you can, but not the way I like mine cooked. Added to that, either my meat cools too much before serving while the rest cooks or I have to cook things how I didn't want them cooking, and on top of that any potential energy saving is reduced by cooking in the Ninja for longer to cook the different parts of the meal. And there's nowhere to keep things warm like there is in my oven. I can't cook layers of cakes at the same time. Nor can I cook two large pizzas and a tray of onion rings and/or fries like I can in a regular oven. Those are just a few examples of why I still couldn't manage withoutmy oven. Otherwise it's great. My gammon joint for example turned out lovely, and I'd forgotten how useful a pressure cooker can be & this Ninja combines that with other methods of cooking too for added versatility. A "quick" sponge turns out great as do many other things like chicken tikka or even heating a pie instead of microwaving it. But for me, handy and versatile though this Ninja is, it might be a great addition to the kitchen and it will undoubtedly get used very regularly but it just can't replace my oven. That's my experience although I recognize that individual needs differ.

My Gas Cooker Retired After This Arrived
I bought my Ninja Foodi MAX 15-in-1 back in 2022, and I can say pretty confidently it’s become one of the most used appliances I’ve ever owned. Not “used a lot for a few months”, I mean genuinely used every single day since then. In fact, it’s reached the point where my gas cooker has barely been used at all. That alone probably says everything you need to know. The biggest thing this machine does well is convenience. Being able to pressure cook, air fry, slow cook, steam, and basically replace multiple appliances in one unit completely changes how you cook day to day. Meals that used to feel like effort now feel like a button press and a short wait. The SmartLid system is surprisingly intuitive once you get used to it. It removes a lot of the guesswork between modes, and the digital probe is one of those features you don’t think you need until you use it, then you wonder how you ever cooked meat without it. No more constant checking temperature or guessing if something is done. Speed is another huge win. Pressure cooking in particular cuts down cooking times massively, which makes it ideal for busy days. Things like stews, curries, and even roasts that would normally take ages become much more manageable. The air fryer function also gets a lot of use. Chips, chicken, vegetables, all come out consistently crisp without needing an oven running for ages. Other than daily meals, i've also used it to make bread, desserts, cakes...you name it! Over a short period of time, this has also helped reduce how often the oven and gas hob get used, which has definitely had a noticeable impact on my gas usage. Capacity is solid too. The 7.5L size is enough for proper family meals, meal prep, or batch cooking. It’s not a tiny gadget, it’s more of a centrepiece appliance, but that’s exactly what makes it so useful. Cleaning is relatively straightforward considering how much it does. Most parts are removable and easy to wash, which matters a lot when you’re using it daily. Nothing worse than an “all-in-one” appliance that turns into a cleaning nightmare. If there’s one thing to mention, it’s that it does take up counter space. This isn’t something you tuck away in a cupboard every day. But honestly, once you start using it regularly, it earns its permanent spot. Over time, what really stands out is value. When you factor in how many appliances it replaces, air fryer, slow cooker, pressure cooker, oven in some cases, it starts to feel less like a single purchase and more like a full kitchen upgrade that pays for itself. If you manage to get it on discount, it’s one of those “don’t think too hard, just buy it” kind of products. Overall, this has been one of the most practical, high-value purchases I’ve made in years. Reliable, versatile, fast, and genuinely transformative for everyday cooking and the kind of appliance you stop thinking of as a gadget and start thinking of as essential kitchen kit.

Used and dirty item received
After waiting months and months for my item it arrived and I finally got to open it and it is used and dirty. So angry. We are travelling in van and trying to return this is going to be a nightmare. For something that is nearly $700 AUD it’s very unsatisfactory
