Tide Pods Febreze Sport Odor Defense, 32 Ct Laundry Detergent Pacs

I had 7 items of clothing that, no matter how many times or how well I washed them, never smelled clean. My gym clothes and my husband's yard working clothes always smelled sour. I tried all different kinds of detergents. I tried washing them on sanitize functions, I even tried pouring boiling water over them in the sink. I got to the point where I was just going to throw them away. I decided to give this product a try as a last resort after I read a few good reviews online. I am so glad I did. I tossed the offensive items in the washer with 2 of the tide packs and a normal wash setting. The smell is very strong with these. Even from across the house I could smell the detergent while I washer was running. It isnt a bad smell though, just very strong. After they finished washing and drying I pulled them out of the dryer and for the first time in MONTHS they smelled clean. I will not use these pods for everything, our normal detergent works well for the rest of our clothes but it is so good to know that there is something that actually works for the tough items.

We have high quality towels and kitchen washcloths that still look great, but after they were used once, a must smell would emerge! Even detergent advertised for sweaty exercise gear didn’t help. These Tide pods actually work. My washcloths do NOT smell musty the morning after I have used them!! Highly recommend - with the caveat that if you’re sensitive to fragrances, beware. It definitely has a distinctive (smell for lack of a better word). I don’t enjoy scented candles, perfume, etc - but it doesn’t bother me. Just wanted to mention in case that’s a deal-breaker for you.

I like this product for my laundry, I use this back home in Italy too (they have different name there - Dash). Very convenient pods which allow not to mess up the washing machine by spilling detergent here and there. Clothes end up properly clean and smells amazing for several days after washing (well if you use a dryer machine, it kills this effect much faster). Also it is not at all irritant for my skin but I definitely don't have a sensitive type skin.

Works on 'most' of my clothes, but it doesn't completely clean some of my compression shorts material. It works on some shorts, but not the others. They smell clean, but the odor comes back much too soon. I've used two pods, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. However, it seems to work fairly well on everything else I sweat in and on. The scent is a bit strong, but I don't mind the scent. It might be an issue for some.
