I rarely write reviews, but SereniBrain absolutely deserves 5 stars. My wife and I have used a market-leading alternative for years, and while we always loved the idea of neurofeedback for meditation, we kept running into the same frustrating issues: unreliable connectivity, inconsistent performance, and a price that felt hard to justify. SereniBrain solved just about every one of those problems for us. The headband itself is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to adjust, so it fits securely without feeling intrusive during practice. The Bluetooth connection has been far more stable than what we were used to before, and that alone has made a huge difference. Meditation is hard enough without having to worry about dropouts, syncing problems, or whether the device is even recording properly. The app is also very well done. I like that it gives real-time feedback, tracks meditation states, and provides reports afterward so you can actually see your progress over time instead of guessing. It’s easy to connect, easy to use, and I appreciate that it supports both guided practice and more independent use. The ability to export reports is a great feature too. What impressed me most is that SereniBrain feels like a serious product built by people who understand both meditation and user experience. The sensors seem more reliable, the signal quality is stronger, and the overall experience is just smoother and more confidence-inspiring. The battery life has also been excellent. I also want to say something about the company itself: their customer support has been outstanding. They were responsive, thoughtful, generous with information, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me get the most from the product. In my case, some of the technical concerns I initially had turned out to be on my side, and their team was patient and helpful throughout. Bottom line: SereniBrain has been such a positive experience for us that we decided to buy a second unit. If you are serious about mindfulness, neurofeedback, focus training, or simply want a more reliable alternative in this category, I highly recommend it.

There are many informative reviews here -- I'm just reporting my initial "out-of-the-box experience", which was very positive. A printed Quick Start Guide and User Manual are in the box; the SereniBrain app also takes you step-by-step through the initial setup, which took me less than a minute: Just insert three gel electrodes, start the app, turn on power, make a one-time Bluetooth connection, and you're ready for a first meditation. Another reviewer wrote "Hard to figure out how to make it work. You just put it on and try…. But it doesn’t tell you how. You just have to figure it out" -- but I believe this just refers to what happens AFTER the initial setup: Guiding your own mind to reach a quieter mental state, which affects the video and audio in the included meditations. I found this quite easy to do. A comment on the headband size: I was concerned because I'd seen a comment about a 16 inch "band", but the company's support team (which is very responsive) wrote back: "about the 16‑inch measurement. To clarify, that number refers to the length of the webbing strap alone – not the full circumference of the headband loop. The actual loop that goes around your head measures approximately 23.6 inches in total circumference. Moreover, the webbing material has a degree of stretch, which allows the band to adapt comfortably to slightly different head sizes." And that is all accurate in my experience. 5 stars.

I was hoping this would be able to help me also see brain function while sleeping, but there is a time limit on it that prevents that. I can get the first hour at least. As for meditation, i no longer find it cumbersome. Yes i feel great when i meditate, but in the busy world i find myself in, it is hard to dedicate time to meditate. But the meditations within the app that respond to your mental state and help hone your ability to focus are great. I have gone from a score of about 50 to 70 within a week, and am finding it easier to stay focused and mindful. Instead of meditating a couple of times per week, i find myself meditating every day. Multiple times on my days off. This device and the app make it fun, and seeing the progress over time makes it even better. 4 stars instead of 5 because the brainwave part of the app could use a little work, and the time limit per session.

Kind of boring. Hard to figure out how to make it work. You just put it on and try…. But it doesn’t tell you how. You just have to figure it out. I found closing my eyes and humming worked to get a better score. I prefer to just use online meditation videos and close my eyes.

this product does not inform the customer before purchase that it MUST BE connected to internet with "Device-Location Access" granted. ALSO, After downloading the APP the user must REGISTER for a "Free Account". IF you read the "Data Safety" section before downloading it clearly states "NO DATA IS LOGGED OR STORED"... However,... THE VERY FIRST PAGE OF THEIR "TERMS OF SERVICE" , that you must agree-to after downloading and installing their APP, AND BEFORE IT WILL EVEN ATTEMPT TO CONNECT TO THE HEADSET, CLEARLY STATES "WE ABSOLUTELY LOG AND STORE ALL YOUR PERSONAL-USE DATA. AND...AND... ALSO BEFORE IT WILL CONNECT TO HEADSET YOU MUST ALSO GRANT FULL ACCESS TO NOT ONLY "Device Location Access", BUT THE "PRECISION" -"DEVICE-LOCATION" ACCESS!, THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME, AND ALL THOSE INVOLVED LOGISTICALLY AS WELL.

I have been using this band for a while now. I absolutely love the feed back via brain wave break down. I will say this may not be for you if you are looking for casual sleep type feedback. However, if you are serious about stress reduction or deepening your meditation practice and understanding your personal feed back this product is awesome. I use the feedback specifically for deepening my understanding of my depth of meditation and focus within those practices. The fact that I can use the app and band for my own recorded meditations and other apps WITHOUT a recurring subscription is a huge benefit. So IF you are at a point in your process where feedback matters to you I cannot recommend the SereniBrain more. My experience has been well worth the initial investment.

La compré con otro objetivo para medir la actividad de ondas bajo un tipo de terapia de regulación emocional. Así mismo la probé en mi en diversos eventos del día día, manejando, estando en el trabajado, pintando, haciendo meditación y me percaté las ondas si van acorde a la actividad por lo que pude percatarme si funciona. Nunca he usado las opciones que vienen en ella para meditación, yo uso la forma libre y si quiero meditar lo hago a mi modo.

Habe das SereniBrain Stirnband schon ein paarmal ausprobiert, scheint alles sehr gut zu funktionieren, nur dass es kein deutsches sondern nur ein englisches Benutzerhandbuch gibt ist mühsam, daher ein Punkt Abzug.. 19.9.2025 Nachtrag: Ich habe wegen dem deutschen Benutzerhandbuch nachgefragt und kurzfristig eine gute deutsche Übersetzung als PDF per Email erhalten. Das Gerät funktioniert auch sehr gut. Ich habe mir aber sicherheitshalber ein Kontaktgel für EEG-Sonden gekauft, falls der Kontakt zur Haut schlechter werden sollte. Jetzt bin ich voll zufrieden, daher 5 Sterne.
