Rockville RVW1500P8 15" Raw DJ PA Replacement Subwoofer, 8 Ohm, 2-Pack

i bought these pair of 8ohm each to replace the old carvin pm15 and looking by comparison they seem to look similiar but i noticed that the rockville tent to be bit more louder than the carbin woofer in a side comparison each rockville woofer claims to handle 750w while the carvin woofer is 400w which i highly doubt for the rockville but overall rockville is a great choice to do a replacement or DYI projects

These are great, at a great price. I replaced my factory woofers in my Peavey PR15s (my mains for DJ gigs) and I typically use a set of Peavey PR12s with them on a 1000 watt RMS system. The screw pattern is a little off, so the red brand name is leaning/angled, but I am okay with that for now (I may take a black Sharpie to the label if it ends up bothering me down the road). That is my ONLY con at this point. I have been running them for a couple weeks once the kids have left the house for a couple hours a day 5* a week. They hit HARD. Much more than I expected, and there is no extra noise like the Peavey's were putting out on the lows. These subs going down to near 20hz as opposed to the Peavey's hitting around 42hz, a huge difference. And clean/clear, for $95 for the pair... Yeah. The magnets are easily 3* as heavy. RMS rated to 750 watts each, these are a super deal.

Great replacement speakers. I went over the specs on the old speakers by about 30% just to make sure I get at least close to a match. I think they're doing just fine.

Bought 8 of these speakers to replace the existing speakers in the local skating rink were I live and I can’t begin to say enough how awesome these sound and look. I posted a video of them playing but still don’t do it the service of hearing them in person. Great buy!! We are buying more to have back ups.

Would buy again

I replaced the 15” drivers in a pair of these cabinets. The original 8ohm speakers were at 2.3 and 4.1obm. Not to mention we’re not very acoustically accurate. Now they have a lower bass response and higher power capacity. I had to drill holes to mount them in these cabinets because the new ones were not the same, but big deal! I like them and will use again
